  Final edit: So the moving out process went smoothly. The office answered almost every time I called them. They also returned my full deposit back before the 14 day mark as required. I really like the fact this team is an improvement over the last one. Im willing to give them the extra star. I will note still, you need to be proactive with company. I made sure I gave them a 60 day notice for moving out and tried to hand over their apartment as clean as possible. I like the direction they are going, hope they continue to improve. I have stayed with Renew Eagle River for about 3 years now. Management is the major factor in my score right now. Over all, the location is good, the emergency maintenance is decent, and the price is decent. The sticking points are with the management. From my experience,They won't return messages, never got a response by email, and they can take a while to get back to you about lease renewals or moving out. You almost need to go to their office to garenty things get done. The management has gotten better compared a year or two where the management was not existent and wouldn't answer their phone for months. This crew has promise and are answering the phones. I'm still waiting on finalizing my move out with them, waiting on itemized list and return of security deposit. The waiting makes you nervous. I really want to like this company but there are still areas in need of improvement. I will edit again when process is complete, that way I can provide a well rounded response.

  If I could give zero stars I would. My boyfriend and I lived in their apartments for 3 yrs. Maintenance requests were ignored, they raised our rent with no notice and we had to negotiate our security deposit just to get out and not be charged raised rent illegally. We have been out for 4 months and still get countless calls and texts from them, often with no caller id. I’ve called several times to get it resolved and it’s still a problem. They are scammers. They scammed my sister out of $800 as well. DO NOT rent from them.
