I give them a negative star .My granddaughter got her keys on Dec.2,2025 on Dec.3rd she came in from work to find her clayton home flooded over half of home .Call Clayton homes sent sent man out and he basically stated its the builder fault and stated the dishwasher was set on the water line and had cut it in half.so it had been seeping into the walls and bottom of floors since water was turned on .Called them again sent another person out and he stated the same thing now electric problems has started walls and floors are wet no heat and numerous other problems .The home is a total wreck not livable was told not to worry about black mold unless they turn a different color you can see how high the water levels went up walls because they are soaked .we have videos of water still seeping out and pictures and was told they only made a report and order a few parts contacted the lenders the bb bureau also other housing consumer agencies .we feel its should be replaced .And Clayton homes is stating it is not possible So beware if you are looking into getting a home from them .

Do not purchase a mobile home from Clayton homes . I did the walk through to get the keys on dec 2, 2025 and mentioned 21 things that needed fixed to Isaac he fixed a few that needed to be fix and ordered the other parts. On Dec 3, 2025 at 12 am when I got home from work there was water everywhere on the front side of the trailer from one side to the other almost to the middle of the trailer. My ps5 , 55in tv, 3 pairs of shoes and 10 shirts that were in the closet got soaked as well. I called the next morning to get them to come out and look at it. The dude came and said he would order part and as soon as he pulled the panel off the cabinet it ripped in half basically. Today 12/5/25 I called to see what all was ordered only 2 sub flooring and a cabinet and supply line for the dishwasher. I said no I need all of it replaced Summer stated that we can't get a manufacturer to work on it until after January which gives the walls time to absorb and the insulation behind the walls. She called me back and told me she would get another technician out to work on it (Isaac) as soon as he got there he cut the belly underneath the trailer were gallons of water came out. He stated that he didn't understand why (James) the first technician only order that small of amount. He stated more than half the floor needs to be replaced and the whole front side of the house needs replaced. But again it's going to take 2 months for them to come out and do this. I paid for a brand new trailer not a trailer that has flood damage due to the manufacturer putting the dishwasher on the supply line. I want my trailer replaced not redone or fixed because that means it's not new it has flood damage.

Let me tell you something. I’ve lived a life of pure hell but the experience we have had with Clayton was pure heaven. I know it seems over exaggerated but I promise it’s not. Our sales man Mr. Tim, talk about a top notch and awesome guy! The knowledge, the help and point of which direction to go for something was some of the best characteristics a sales person can have and I used to be one. He’s the man when it comes to your home needs and wants. The integrity of this man, 100% would want him to be our salesman again. The level of patience on him is unmatched, dealt calmly and patiently with all 90 million questions I had. The company was amazing, communication could not be beat. Side note most home dealers buy their houses from Clayton so it’s just better to come here. Come here, ask for Mr. Tim, get you the house of your dreams and carry on knowing not only were you safe with this company and Mr. Tim as your sales man, but you don’t have to worry about any sneakiness or dishonesty. You’re missing out if you don’t come here and get blessed by Mr. Tim. Hey Clayton homes, give him a raise, please thanks❤️

1 star. We traveled from Allen to Clayton Homes in Tyler on Saturday, October 25, 2025 specifically to look at homes after long phone conversations and planning. Upon arrival the manager told us he would pair us with the best salesperson; instead we were assigned a woman who spent the first 15 minutes boasting about her awards and ring, then proceeded to ignore and belittle me the entire visit. She repeatedly answered my questions to my husband, interrupted me mid-sentence, called me a “social butterfly” in front of my spouse, and led my husband away while turning her back on me when I asked technical construction questions. She handed us keys and sent us to wander the models alone, we had to track her down. She kept putting her hands on my husband. Then started pressuring us into a raffle that they said could hold a home with $1,000 as guided my husband away and told me to go get lunch ready. Pointing at food truck and saying, “I recommend the quesadilla.” We were ready to pay cash but left feeling disrespected and humiliated. This was sexist, condescending, unprofessional and traumatic experience. I will not recommend Clayton Homes Tyler. Management and corporate needs to immediately addresses this unacceptable behavior. All people no matter gender or race deserve to be treated with respect.
