  I strongly advise anyone considering moving to Preston Apartments to think twice. Living here has been one of the most frustrating renting experiences I’ve had. The biggest ongoing issue has been the excessive stomping and impact noise from the unit above mine. The noise is not normal day-to-day living sounds — it is constant, aggressive stomping that causes items mounted on my walls and ceilings to visibly move. I have reported this to the office multiple times and even provided video evidence. Despite this, management continues to give the same response with no real action or improvement. The situation has become so severe that it has started causing issues inside my unit. Maintenance confirmed debris coming from my master bathroom air vent and my mirror framing has begun coming loose. That should never happen in a properly maintained building. There is also a history of pest issues. Roaches have been a recurring problem, and pest control scheduling is inconsistent and poorly managed. Residents are often left dealing with the issue without any proactive effort from management. Maintenance is another major concern. In my experience, many of the maintenance staff do not seem properly trained and often appear unsure of what they are doing. Work orders are closed without actually fixing the problem, or temporary fixes are done that lead to more issues later. On top of everything, there are frequent marijuana odors throughout the building, which management has also failed to address. Overall, management at Preston Apartments has been unresponsive and ineffective in addressing serious tenant concerns. Between the constant noise disturbances, pest issues, poor maintenance, and lack of accountability from management, this complex has been a very disappointing place to live. If you value peace, cleanliness, and competent management, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
