  DO NOT USE!!! Is it possible to leave zero stars? This review is LONG overdue, but WELL deserved! While under RLM's management, several years ago a family moved into my house, immediately stopped paying rent, squatted in my house for months, and wrecked my property. This family paid the first month's rent and security deposit, and that was it. I had to hire an attorney at my expense (not cheap) to have these people evicted. This process takes months, and of course the bank is still charging monthly mortgage even if the tenants aren't paying rent. My lawyer finally got a court order and it took law enforcement to come evict these people. As a parting gift they had left me with several thousand dollars of intentional damage. Paint thrown on many walls, dog excrement everywhere, holes punched through drywall, etc... THIS HOUSE WAS ONLY A FEW YEARS OLD!!! None of this was covered by the landlord-tenant policy. The insurance people said vandalism is defined as a one-time event, not an ongoing campaign of destruction like what happened to me. The idea being that a responsible management company would put a stop to such destruction. It was discovered that this family had been evicted from their last residence as well.. how did this not come up in a background check? Can we say vet potential tenants better next time RLM? All of these debts factored greatly into being forced to file bankruptcy, and of course I listed RLM as a creditor. After the case was closed, RLM refused to release the security deposit to me, stating they would apply it to my balance (which had been discharged in Bankruptcy court and legally no longer existed). They then had the nerve to threaten to sue ME for what they called "a still owed balance." This is what happens when the going gets tough. I recommend passing on RLM. DO NOT USE!!!

  This is a great management company to lease with! They work on one application at a time and not take multiple applications and then select from there. Most important is that you can always get a hold of them.

  I really appreciate that Brad, the VP of the company, is very highly involved with clients. Client care and satisfaction are important to him. It is very rare that a VP actually does care and takes the time to directly interacts with clients.
