Waited a whole week to get a call back and nothing. Then when they did get back with me, there were $100,000 less than anybody else on the offer for my property. After what I went through, I wouldn’t use them again or recommend them. My home is only one years old immaculate with a premium lot. It’s not like a rundown home.

I've built and purchased many homes over 50 years. This by far the most STRESSFUL. Nothing I was promised came to fruition except the fact it finally sold after just over 10 months (reason it got a Star) and for under $300K than listed. The biggest concern was the listing agent initials VW. I was initially told I'd have an offer 7-10 days it took 14 after I made calls not to my agent. I was told no showings or pictures until I moved out then a lockbox and photographer showed up within a week of signing contract. When I called VW she didn't know why it happened. After move out I received higher utility bills than when I lived there. Over $500 one month. I reached out to VW and she asked who would have touched AC etc. How would I know I have no access?! She went to check and upstairs AC had been turned down to 64 by their cleaners or showing agent or? She gave me code to lockbox. I'm not driving over an hour to check on a home that is now their responsibility. After reaching out via a letter to Mark Spain power and water was taken out of my name. Then I received a complaint regarding overgrown lawn and low tree branches. Why did I get complaint? I called VW she asked for contact info for my landscaper. No wonder it took so long to sell and I got far less than expected. If you think I'm a "Karen" I have copies of texts and phone messages I would happily share. Buyer beware.

DON’T FALL FOR THEIR CONSTANT ADVERTISING HYPE! If the amount of mind-numbing commercials was an indicator of quality, Mark Spain might be ok. But they are not. First of all, NO CASH OFFER CAME FROM MARK SPAIN! They are simply a middleman that connects you with house-flipping companies. And yes, there are showings, because these flippers want to come to your house before they make their ridiculous, low-ball offers. The Spain people were nice and professional enough, but their business model is terrible. We have a very nice home, in a nice neighborhood. Everything works; no repairs are needed. We are working with a highly acclaimed national realtor, who has offered to conservatively list our home at $535k (their number, not ours). We owe less than $40k. The BEST net from the flippers that Spain sent us was $334k !!! They put in ridiculous costs like $21,000 “buyers fees”, and $23,000 “program fees”. Are you kidding me? If you have a crappy house in a crappy neighborhood, maybe the experience will be different, or maybe it won’t. My advice is to just stay away from these people. If you want to sell your house to a flipper, why not just go directly to them, and eliminate the middleman?
