I lived here from 9/22 to 9/25, and the experience made me feel gross, unsafe, and mentally drained. Management lost my money order, and even though I had proof of payment (they even initialed it), Krystal still claimed I underpaid rent and threatened a lease violation. It took months to resolve, and now they no longer accept money orders. The apartments were dirty, with roaches in the kitchen and restroom and pest control only sprayed occasionally without actually fixing the problem. The constant presence of pests made me feel unsettled and on edge in my own home. The pool area was unbearably noisy.
Towards the end, maintenance requests were being closed as “completed” even when nothing had been done, which added to the feeling that no one cared. Returning my keys to Ruby was stressful—she was rude and unprofessional, and there was no walk-through. I say she was rude because she would talk with her back to you. I also provided my ESA letter in July but was still charged pet rent for August and September. My deposit took a long time to come back, with no explanation for the fees. Guest parking was ridiculous—some guests still got towed, and the office never answers calls or emails.
Living here was mentally exhausting and made me feel unsafe in my own space. I would not recommend it. Thank you for following up by calling me, but I was at work when you called.
This place is an absolute dump, and the management is an even bigger disaster. I have never experienced such neglect, dishonesty, and straight-up incompetence in my life. If you’re considering living here — don’t. Run.
The property is filthy beyond belief. I’ve seen vomit sitting on staircases for months, a whole chicken bone sitting in the stairwell for my ENTIRE lease, condoms and underwear left in the parking lot for weeks, and a dog park completely covered in dog feces. Yet somehow management has all the time in the world to send violations over the smallest things, like having a few trash bags. Their priorities are completely backwards.
The pool is always full, overcrowded, and unusable — yet another thing they don’t manage properly. Parking is a nightmare. There is never good parking, no matter the time of day.
The front gate is constantly broken, cars get broken into, and this place is NOT safe. Neighbors are loud at all hours — kids blasting music at 4 AM, people smoking weed in the parking lot, and the smell comes straight into the apartments. It truly feels like they let anyone sign a lease. As someone living on the third floor, to hear the music blasting and the marijuana smell says a lot. I had a neighbor tell me his car was broken into three times and he ended up selling it.
Management is an absolute disaster. In just a couple of months, they went through three different management teams.(MIND YOU I MOVED IN HALF WAY THRU THE 1 YEAR LEASE THAT SAYS ENOUGH) They lose paperwork, lie, and then try to flip everything on you. Document EVERYTHING and make copies, because they will lose things and then act like it’s your fault. Management WILL LIE LIE LIE! Management gave me the OK to move out but then they switched management again for like the third time since I started my lease and the new manager didn’t absolutely not let me move out unless I paid a ridiculous amount of fees over 4000+, and then said I lied about it. Why would I put a deposit on a new apartment, Buy my flights and get ready to move if I wasn’t getting that secured answer from management.
I tried to break my lease because I genuinely could not handle living there anymore. I gave a proper 60-day notice, signed by management, with a dated copy in my possession. Somehow they still claimed I never gave notice — until they suddenly “found” their copy. Even then, they tried to say it wasn’t valid. How is that my fault? They went back and forth with me like I was lying when I had proof the entire time.
The roach problem was absolutely horrific. I’m not exaggerating — they were everywhere, even inside the light fixtures. I would wake up with cockroaches crawling on my face and in my bed. I put in multiple pest control requests and nothing was done until I basically had to lose my mind in the office to get help. ROACHES ON MY PILLOW
Maintenance takes months to respond, if they respond at all. I didn’t even have a working bathtub for months, and no one cared. 5 people sharing 1 bathroom.
During the final walkthrough, they told us everything was fine except the blinds — yet they still kept our entire deposit and charged us more. That alone tells you everything you need to know. I PURPOSELY WALKED AND RECORDED EVERYTHING, them telling me everything was fine. Just a little normal wear and tear but the only thing was the blinds they were charging … yet took my whole deposit and charged me more.
This place completely destroyed my mental health. Your home is supposed to be your safe place, but this place was my personal hell. I lived in constant stress, anxiety, and exhaustion just trying to survive there.
I would never recommend this place to anyone. You’d be better off living in a motel or even your car — at least you’d have peace of mind.
Save yourself the stress, the money, and your sanity. DO NOT LIVE HERE.
