I’d like to personally thank Nazareth for helping us out with our transfer process. He is definitely an asset at Ventana, as he went above and beyond for us. Because of this, we are renewing our lease for the third time. Teresa, the property manager is great as well. She made us feel appreciated and we are grateful to her!

I have lived here for a year and a half and this place is a mixed bag. When I first moved in they were quick to fulfill maintenance requests but now things take a looong time. I've had issues with a water heater leak (causing mold), backed up dishwasher, broken dryer door, and my oven producing a lot of smoke despite being clean... and I've been told because these items are not "emergencies" like an AC, they have to wait. Which is fine, but I've now gone a week without being able to do laundry or cook in my oven, and rent is not sufficiently low enough for me to let these things slide. I have a corner unit so the bedroom with the exposed walls is 5-10 degrees hotter or colder than the rest of the apartment at any given time. When I first moved in the room got no AC and was 85 degrees because an animal had gotten into the ceiling and ripped up the duct. Maintenance fixed this issue but I hear a rather large animal up there every now and then, so I imagine it will just happen again eventually. There are a bunch of raccoons living in the little wooded area behind my building so I imagine it's one of them hanging out in my ceiling. As an animal lover I don't necessarily want the apartments to do anything about these raccoons, just something I wish I had been aware of before moving in. All in all I like these apartments for the most part, but they DESPERATELY need more maintenance staff for such a large complex of old buildings with old appliances if whenever I have an issue they're all working on "emergency AC repairs." I don't expect things to get fixed immediately, but as someone who has lived in many apartments over the years, a week is ridiculous.

I would like to think Nazareth our leasing agent for assisting us in moving into our new apartment. Nazareth was very professional and assisted us in each in every way possible to make our move-in very successful. He showed us different levels of apartments to make sure the one that we chose fit our needs for our family. He also took the time to review each of our documents to make sure we had everything that we needed for move-in date. If I had to choose a place to live, I would choose this one because the professionalism that took place. Thank you, Nazareth for your assistance!

star. I lived here for nearly five years and cannot stress enough how unsafe and mismanaged this place is — do not move in without ironclad, dated paperwork and photographic proof of everything. From the beginning maintenance always “patched” things instead of fixing them properly. Bathroom tile was literally painted over instead of being caulked, the foundation showed visible cracking, and there was a persistent foul sewage/urine smell coming from the toilet drains that management never corrected. I briefly worked in-house for a local HVAC company and they inspected the unit: they confirmed mold in the ducting. That’s not hearsay — an HVAC professional I worked with directly confirmed it when we ran a camera down the vents. Safety is a real issue. Police were called to the property on at least three separate occasions for fights and disturbances in the parking lot — none of which were about me, but they were violent enough and frequent enough that it became obvious this is not a safe place to park or live. Cars were regularly broken into; people in the complex repeatedly had things stolen. You will feel like you need cameras on your door and in your car to protect your possessions — I did, and the footage supports what I’m saying. Management and leasing are a nightmare. Renewal paperwork was routinely misdated or signed late by the office, dates would mysteriously change, and I had multiple experiences where the on-site manager lied about processes (including falsely telling me an eviction had been filed) — I checked with the local precinct and that claim was proven false. At one point the manager sent my personal, private information to another person with the same name — an obvious and inexcusable privacy breach — and all I received back was a casual “my bad” with no accountability. Financially, they eventually hit me with a lump sum number sent to collections and offered zero itemized invoice, zero vendor receipts, and zero photos showing the alleged damage. I’ve repeatedly asked for an itemized bill and supporting documentation and been stonewalled. I paid on time for most of the tenancy; when I had a short period of trouble two years ago I communicated and caught up — and yet they still treated me like a problem tenant and tried to pile on unexplained fees later. Venterra corporate was somewhat responsive at first, but the local staff made it clear they didn’t want tenants escalating issues (and suggested that going above them could put me in breach of my lease), which is a terrible power imbalance when the on-site folks are the ones mishandling documents and privacy. I have emails, Ring footage time stamps, an HVAC inspection note, and payment records I can share if needed — I’m not making this up. If you’re considering this company/property: get everything in writing, demand itemized invoices for any charges, take your own photos and video on move-in and move-out, and do not rely on verbal assurances. This property has recurring maintenance failures, safety incidents in the common areas, privacy breaches, and an alarming willingness to push unitemized charges into collections. Avoid unless you want constant headaches, security concerns, and potentially years of disputing bogus fees.

I been living here for 2 years now. The apartments are nice. Only annoying issue is the annoying smart lock. Sometimes it gets jammed and door doesn’t open. Amenify resident is something new the apartment has and it’s a great app you get credits every month to use toward a purchase
