I’ve lived here for almost a year, and the worst part about Landon Ridge isn’t the administration or maintenance staff — it’s the people who live here.
Even though dog waste bags are provided, some residents still leave it on the grass or sidewalks. People don’t respect the designated trash valet schedule; they leave their garbage outside their apartments even when there is no pickup service, simply because they can’t be bothered to walk it to the dumpsters. And speaking of dumpsters, residents continue to dump prohibited items — couches, electronics — without making the slightest effort to dispose of them properly.
Every Sunday night, the pool area ends up looking worse than a landfill. People ignore the rules set by management regarding pool hours and music. There is a complete lack of respect for shared spaces.
When I first moved in, the property was beautiful and well-maintained. Unfortunately, things started to decline after Section 8 housing was introduced. It honestly feels like some people simply don’t care about maintaining a decent living environment.
I live on the first floor, and neighbors from the second or third floor constantly throw cigarette butts into my small yard. Why? Even animals behave better than some of the people living here.
I have not had a single issue with the administration. I understand how difficult it must be to deal with residents who refuse to follow basic community rules every single day. It just feels like there aren’t enough civilized people here who know how to take care of something nice.
My only complaint about The Residences at Landon Ridge is that it seems like anyone can live here — and that completely destroys the “luxury apartment” atmosphere that was originally advertised.

DO NOT RENT FROM THESE APARTMENTS!THEY WILL CHARGE YOU HIDDEN FEES WHEN MOVE OUT DAY COMES AND GOES DIRECTLY TO YOUR CREDIT REPORT.RUN AS FAST YOU CAN THEY HAVE HIDDEN FEES FOR EVERYTHING.
As multiple residents have already stated, many of the glowing 4–5 star reviews are written by staff or their associates. The true representation of this property is reflected in the lowest rated reviews by the residents here. Despite advertising itself as a “luxury” community, the reality is far from it especially since the acceptance of Section 8 tenants while others continue to pay full market rent.
Safety is a major concern. The gates are consistently broken and left wide open, allowing unrestricted access for anyone to enter, loiter, break in, or cause disturbances. Dog waste is everywhere because management fails to enforce basic cleanliness standards. Dumpsters routinely overflowed and left in that state, and the open gates invite constant illegal dumping.
Management, specifically the property manager Veronica and her staff assistant manager Janette, and Nicole are unprofessional, rude, and openly biased. Complaints and comcerns are met with hostility or ignored entirely! As it is evident they post fake concern in online responses, but they rarelyif ever respond to phone calls or emails. If you raise issues too often, in what they deem too often you are effectively placed on a retaliation list and your communications will be ignored completely.
Noise complaints about obnoxiously loud neighbors go without being addressed, even when excessive and ongoing. Children roam the property unsupervised, damaging others’ property, creating constant noise, and disrupting residents. Couples fighting in the parking lots. Amenities are unusable due to this lack of oversight, with residents regularly harassed or asked for money while trying to enjoy the amenities here.
Management and the leasing staff are the root cause of these problems. They are negligent, unresponsive, uneducated, uninformed, extremely biased, and show no motivation to improve living conditions. As other residents have noted, if you complain, you will either be ignored or given dismissive, scripted AI responses.
If you are smart, financially responsible and value safety, cleanliness, and professionalism, DO NOT RENT HERE. The artificially high rating exists only because staff and their acquaintances inflate reviews. This property is rapidly declining and will soon be indistinguishable from a housing project. If negative stars were an option, this place would deserve them. However knowing how manipulative and deceiving the staff are there will surely be a fake 5 star review or a few following this honest one.
DO NOT RENT HERE!
I’ve had an excellent experience living at The Residence at Landon Ridge. From when we first arrived the community has been well-maintained, clean, and welcoming. The common areas, including the gym and pool, are always clean.
The maintenance team they are professional, responsive, and always arrive on time whenever a request is submitted. Any issues are handled efficiently. I would highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a clean, well-run, and enjoyable place to live and cozy environment.

I’ll definitely say I do not recommend this apartment complex Walls are so thin that everybody can hear everything I’ve gotten violations just because my kids are playing or my son has dropped something mind you they are 2 and 1 You can hear people’s conversations through the wall. You can hear everything but yet we still get in trouble for it. They don’t respect people with disabilities and they don’t respect people with section 8, but yet they accept them which makes no sense because I’m one of those people and I’ve gotten in trouble for things that I shouldn’t even be getting in trouble for her and they’ve been picking on me since I’ve moved in They act so nice before I moved in and now my section 8 is terminated because my walls are so thin that people want to complain about the noise complaint about my kids running back-and-forth about my Service Dog barking when I’m seizing because nobody else was in the home to help me. Definitely don’t recommend these apartments whatsoever Yeah they might be beautiful, but the Staff are not good people the office even had the maintenance people stalking me Because I have my Service Dog with me and I wasn’t able to put it on my lease yet because they didn’t want to accept the paperwork from my doctor But yeah, I’ve walked past a couple different people and they have like four dogs in their home. I’ve seen it in their yards. I’ve taken pictures They definitely pick on the young ones I’m 20 and this is my first apartment single mom as well They don’t even try to understand you I haven’t even been here for three months. That’s kind of sad ain’t it Bad review all the way they even entered my home when I was not there after I said to make an appointment with me and then they went through my home and took pictures of my home And violated my privacy, don’t come to these apartments
