I am a current resident of The Frederick Apartments and feel obligated to share serious concerns after observing the condition of vacant “show” units on the property. During a walkthrough of multiple vacant units, I observed roaches inside a refrigerator, including along the door seal and interior frame. These were not occupied units. These were units being presented as move-in ready or available for showing, which raises major concerns about pest control and sanitation across the property. Additional issues observed in these vacant units included: Cabinets and storage areas with visible dirt, debris, and deterioration HVAC vent covers improperly installed and partially detached, exposing dust and buildup General signs of neglect inconsistent with professional property management standards If these are the conditions in units meant to be shown to prospective residents, it raises serious questions about what is considered acceptable behind the scenes. As a resident, this has significantly reduced my confidence in management’s maintenance practices and overall commitment to health and safety. Prospective renters should inspect thoroughly and ask direct questions before leasing here. Photos attached for transparency. I also attached videos of some of the vacant units that have been unoccupied for several months!

I like the amenities and pool especially the leasing people are nice they work with you if your late on rent however there are downsides so we got this 2 bedroom apartment thinking we're only gonna be paying 1175 a month but nope our bill comes out to 1500 plus a month because they include internet and water in our rent . What I dont get is they make us pay 75 for the internet package even if we don't want internet. Thru them they say we still have to pay it and also they shut off our internet if we are late paying the rent even with us paying the late fee they don't care they will shut it off which is ridiculous cause we get internet somewhere else cheaper and they won't shut it off . Also somehow our water is coming out to almost 100 a month for a 2 bed 2 bath and we hardly use 1 bathroom . Our water bill in a 3 bedroom house before would only come out to 50 or less so I really don't get why our bill is coming out to so much . There is only one laundry room for the whole apartment complex and the dryers almost never work . There's always dog poop on the grass . Other wise than that these apartments are quiet and nice but those are the downsides to this apartment complex if you wanna save money and actually pay the rent your supposed to pay and not all these extra fees I say look somewhere else .

Don't do it, stay away from them!!!!! They lie, they cut corners and they don't resolve the problems or issues in a timely manner. Appliances are old and not well maintained. They also have roaches! But I guess you get what you pay for. Its worth just paying a little more to rent an apartment across the street from them. Save yourself the headache.
