We've only been there for a week, but it's comfortable. The staff is friendly and responsive. You can walk to nearly anything you could want. The building is clean and well maintained. I'm glad we chose the 68.

I have lived at The 68 for over two years and would absolutely recommend this property to all of my friends and family! Some of the major perks for me include the cleanliness, speedy maintenance, responsive leasing staff, and location! I love the variety of restaurants downstairs including options for brunch, coffee, drinking, ice cream, and pizza. It is also great proximity to Southtown bars and restaurants, the riverwalk, and much more. The rooftop also includes bbq pits, pickle ball, and basketball which is great for hosting and winding down after long days. A lot of the disadvantages come with the territory of living Downtown. For example, parking for visitors is less than ideal. There is no free parking anywhere and it is an uncomfortable conversation telling friends and family that they will have to pay to come visit me. There is not even free guest spots available and towing is enforced. Other than that, I do feel management is communicative when there are building issues such as a broken garage gate. There are also monthly community events and discounts to nearby restaurants. The only thing I would change would be the parking for visitors, a bigger gym space outside of the studio downstairs specifically for residents, and access to a pool. Great place to live!

Update october 2023 I moved out in September and I got a bill of 440us . They charged me for repainting the apartment- what a 🎪! They went into the apartment after I moved out and damaged the walls, then charged me. Its funny because I made a video how I left the apartment and they did not care. I never hot a bill on the email and they did send the bill to a collection agency. Really? Find another place to rent, there are plenty of good communities around. Dont be fooled by these careless people How to start! I moved back on September 2021 from Florida and what a journey this has been! 1. When I first visited the building. I met Star (the manager) and she toured the building. The building looked in good condition. She said that we could use the pool at the St. Anthony hotel. We signed up for one year leasing and what a painful journey this has been. ** the First day we moved in, the apartment was not cleaned .The fridge was dirty and bathrooms dirty too*** I had to go and complain about it, its a lack of respect and class 🤮 2. We have not be able to go to the pool once. You will have to make a reservation on line trough a resort pass where they charge 25/45 per person. We have not been able to make one single reservation in 8 months. It’s ridiculous, this was never disclosed to us. Disappointing. 3. Maintenance is probably the worse I have ever experienced. I have filed 15 times the same maintenance request for the faucets. The faucets leak on top and they leak all the time. Its so frustrating that they dont have any type of quality control. I feel they dont have any type of respect for the tenants. ** they fixed the faucet after 7 months of complaints.- elevated to two start since they finally changed the faucets after 8 months. 4. The gate for residents is broken, what a joke! No leadership at all. 10 months broken residents gate and counting. 5. There have not been, even once cleaning the building (windows) . Perhaps, I am used to some other type of management but this is disrespectful. 6. Forget about washing your car, they blow all the dust on your car every week. The clean the parking lot blowing off all the dust on the cars. 7. In general, honestly I will rate this place: 2 ⭐️ ⭐️ Hopefully you find this review usefull

Location, location, location. Ground zero for downtown living. Along with unbelievable views of the downtown cityscape, and, the park. (The front doors actually open INTO the park. Wonderful.) Innumerable restaurants, bars, coffeehouses in every direction. The entire River Walk steps away. Music, theater and dance venues all within a short walk. Yoga studio next door. Beautiful, historical King William residential area to the south. Easy, quick access to major highways. Designed by one of Architect magazines Top 50 -Lake/Flato. (Amazing architects. Their stuff is beautiful. Look it up.) All that, and, a friendly, professional and responsive staff. Kudo's to Starr, Bianca and Simon. (P.S. I've lived up and down the Riverwalk. The Pearl and The Blue Star areas are nice, but, limited in nearby attractions, and, are a 15-30 minute walk to downtown. There are other downtown apartments, but, most look into the side of a building, a parking lot or a street - none that are in the midst of, and, exit into, a park. This is as good as it gets in San Antonio.) A Happy Resident. 6/1/21 UPDATE: Star, Bianca and the staff continue to be extremely professional, responsive, friendly and pleasant. My neighbors are amiable. A few very minor maintance issues have been resolved immediately. The property is maintaned in a spotless manner. Plenty of parking. Still enjoying the beautiful, central location, trees, and ability to walk out the door and sit in the park or walk directly to the Riverwalk, King William, the grocery store, and more. EnergyX is now downstairs and is a great way to meet neighbors, make friends and enjoy low impact, high intnesity workouts. 2025 May Update: I've moved to Jones & Rio. There is a pool, a rooftop patio, a community room, a beautiful gym overlooking the River, a sushi resturant downstairs (happy hour daily), and within a few minutes walk of The Pearl and many resturants and bars. Some complain of the very loud music Thursday - Saturday night from the local VFW, however, I find it entertaining. As much as I enjoyed my beautiful view at The 68, I would not move there again given there is no pool, community room or rooftop patio. With that said, there is new develpment near The 68 and it appears to be 100% first class. For me, the largest drawback at The 68 was no pool.
