Location, location, location. Ground zero for downtown living. Along with unbelievable views of the downtown cityscape, and, the park. (The front doors actually open INTO the park. Wonderful.) Innumerable restaurants, bars, coffeehouses in every direction. The entire River Walk steps away. Music, theater and dance venues all within a short walk. Yoga studio next door. Beautiful, historical King William residential area to the south. Easy, quick access to major highways. Designed by one of Architect magazines Top 50 -Lake/Flato. (Amazing architects. Their stuff is beautiful. Look it up.) All that, and, a friendly, professional and responsive staff. Kudo's to Starr, Bianca and Simon. (P.S. I've lived up and down the Riverwalk. The Pearl and The Blue Star areas are nice, but, limited in nearby attractions, and, are a 15-30 minute walk to downtown. There are other downtown apartments, but, most look into the side of a building, a parking lot or a street - none that are in the midst of, and, exit into, a park. This is as good as it gets in San Antonio.) A Happy Resident.
6/1/21 UPDATE: Star, Bianca and the staff continue to be extremely professional, responsive, friendly and pleasant. My neighbors are amiable. A few very minor maintance issues have been resolved immediately. The property is maintaned in a spotless manner. Plenty of parking. Still enjoying the beautiful, central location, trees, and ability to walk out the door and sit in the park or walk directly to the Riverwalk, King William, the grocery store, and more. EnergyX is now downstairs and is a great way to meet neighbors, make friends and enjoy low impact, high intnesity workouts.
2025 May Update: I've moved to Jones & Rio. There is a pool, a rooftop patio, a community room, a beautiful gym overlooking the River, a sushi resturant downstairs (happy hour daily), and within a few minutes walk of The Pearl and many resturants and bars. Some complain of the very loud music Thursday - Saturday night from the local VFW, however, I find it entertaining. As much as I enjoyed my beautiful view at The 68, I would not move there again given there is no pool, community room or rooftop patio. With that said, there is new develpment near The 68 and it appears to be 100% first class. For me, the largest drawback at The 68 was no pool.
