My boyfriend had left a very harsh review of this complex due to their inability to help with our roach issue. BEFORE putting in a negative review, we put in multiple work orders, called the office and begged them to help, and had DEEP cleaned our apartment. Michael told us he would come walk our apartment to see the infestation on February 11th. That day came and went without ever hearing from him. I emailed him, and you can see his response below. This was the type of urgency were got from him at all times. When he finally showed up to walk our apartment, he blamed it on my dog food. He told me to my face that we had roaches CRAWLING OUT OF THE WALL SOCKETS, because of the dog food that was left in the dog bowls. He also told us to go buy containers to store every single food item possible into, and that he would look into doing a treatment of our apartment. They did two treatments in our time there, which required being out of the apartment for 6 hours and moving every single item from our cabinets and pantry to the living room. After the first treatment, I told Michael it did not work, as there were still roaches all over my apartment. At this point, our dogs were sick all of the time, my brand new Nespresso maker was infested so heavily we could not use it, and we were on our SECOND modem and router from spectrum (the photo below shows how many roaches came out of our modem alone). Michael had promised me that if the second treatment did not work, he would move me units or allow us to break our lease. After the treatment, they told us we needed to move out our refrigerator and stove every single day and sweep the dead roaches and then take them to the trash immediately. We abided by these rules for weeks and saw ZERO change. The second treatment came and went, and again no fix. Michael was trying to tell us that it was our fault, making us feel gross and unclean. I was distraught at this point and had contacted a lawyer to help me break my lease since Michael went back on his promise. I went into his office one last time to try to get help, and he looked at me and said he is off this case and will no longer be speaking to me. I asked him who I could speak with and he gave me no help at all. Upper management (Pelican) was also not answering me. So, he began picking me apart. He made my boyfriend get on my lease; he then told me that his dog also needed to be added and then tried to BRIBE us by telling us he would waive the pet fee and register her as an ESA if my boyfriend would take down the nasty review. We did not take it down. We then put in our intent to move out, and we put for July 17th (our lease was not up until September) but Jennfier signed our form without looking it over, approving the move out date. She then retracted that, telling us we couldn't move out and that we would have to pay to break our lease. Again, we were living in a filthy apartment. Roaches inside my washer and dryer, my couch, my bed, all appliances and more. We ended up moving out in July anyway because we could not live in such an unhealthy environment. We had to get rid of every single thing we owned before moving and completely start over. Michael and Jennifer then sent us to collections for nearly 4 thousand dollars. They said that we had left damages, every single photo of damages were ROACH related. We are still working through this horrific incident a year later. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. all my friends posted reviews as well after visiting my apartment, and Michael threatened to get their reviews removed since they didn't lease an apartment there. These people DO NOT care about you. Please, do not rent!!!!!!!

Disgusting place. The rocks and grass smell of strong urine from dogs I’m guessing. There’s leaking roofs and black mold that is just painted over and never repaired. The management is useless and rude. The fire alarm goes off at 2am randomly. The parking is nonexistent if you work late.Pool old and crusty. Not worth the money nor the time. It looks like most units empty and there’s a reason. Past infection of roaches that took months to fix. I hate this place. Will be moving out asap.

The epitome of a corporate bully. AVOID AT ALL COSTS would not honor SCRA untill I got a lawyer. They then proceeded to threaten me with made up water bills for $1200 that they made on excel. On top of that the management works are the most pretentious people I’ve ever had the misfortune of interacting with

I have fallen in love with these apartments already and I haven’t even moved in yet! Throughout the entire process Dominique has been super helpful. Me and my fiance went in wanting a one bedroom but we were presented with the two bedroom option to at least consider and we both saw it was a really good deal and the best option for us. Dominique helped us think about the pros and cons for each option. I love the layout of the apartment and all the amenities that come with living here and can’t wait to start!

We lived here for 2 years before moving on to our next spot. The current management Pelican was definitely a fresh taste from all the other owners. They did community building events such as having food trucks, tacos, donuts, etc. I appreciated that. The staff were also very friendly.
The maintenance guys were great. They were super on top of requests & always kind.
The rates were great for the area and the updated amenities.
The cons of living here was the back gate not working for more than half of my time here, very limited parking, the halls would have a ton of bugs & webs. I never experienced a ton of bugs in our unit except for a few scorpions time to time. BUT we did see an increase in roaches the last month of living there. We were in building 8 backed up against a wooded area. And never had a single roach until then. The walls are very thin as well, you can hear everything.. We had a very loud upstairs neighbor for majority of the time we lived there, but thankfully the last few months someone quiet lived up above us & it was so nice.
All in all we really enjoyed our time here & would recommend it for the most part as long as they can keep the pests under control
