If you are expecting as a first home buyer to be taken care of with intention, communication, and response - DO NOT BUY WITH PULTE.
Our experience with Pulte Homes has been deeply disappointing and concerning, particularly given that this was our first home purchase and a significant financial and personal milestone.
We entered into a purchase contract over a year ago and fulfilled all of our obligations in good faith. However, Pulte did not fulfill multiple material terms of the contract. At closing, we were rushed through the process and treated dismissively, while several pre-closing repairs and agreed-upon items were incomplete. Additionally, selections and specifications that were contractually agreed to were not honored or delivered. In fact, we were told a temporary installation of lights we chose to match our aesthetic would be put in, however we were not given a choice on what the outcome was and have been completely disregarded any time we have tried to remedy the situation to our specific specifications.
Post-closing, we made repeated attempts to resolve these issues through internal channels. We communicated with warranty, construction management, design studio, sales, and sales leadership. During these interactions, it became apparent that there is little to no coordination between departments, a fact that was openly acknowledged with us, and our realtor. This lack of communication has resulted in prolonged delays and an ongoing failure to remedy outstanding contractual issues.
What has been most troubling is the lack of accountability and responsiveness once the sale was finalized. Despite multiple follow-ups and internal reviews, the issues remain unresolved. The overall impression is that customer care and contractual diligence end at closing.
Buying a home should be a positive and affirming experience. Instead, this process has been stressful and disheartening, leaving us without the benefit of what we were promised and paid for.
Prospective buyers should proceed with caution and ensure they are fully prepared to advocate for themselves. For the price point and scale of this builder, one would reasonably expect professionalism, transparency, and adherence to contract terms. Unfortunately, that has not been our experience. In fact, the exact opposite has been our experience since signing - it is not unreasonable to expect our home that we designed with love, genuine excitement, and our needs in mind - be followed through and not just dismissed on what our desires were coming into and trusting a builder that was supposed to be the best. Go to a different builder, and save yourself the experience of just being another number.

My husband and I started the building process of our home in January 2025. We toured several times with Ruben, who explained all the details and walked us through the upgrades we could add to our home. He showed us the model homes, inventory homes, and sat with us multiple times to review structural options. We officially decided to go under contract in February, and from that point forward Ruben remained available every step of the way.
He even went above and beyond by helping us understand how to best use seller credits, which was not necessarily his responsibility but something he did to make sure we were set up for success. The entire Bison Ridge team has been amazing, but our primary contact throughout this process was Ruben. He kept us informed of every milestone, from the foundation to framing, drywall, and finally the walkthroughs.
As first-time homebuyers, we had no idea what to expect. Having someone like Ruben available to answer all of our questions made the process much less overwhelming. We are so grateful for his guidance, professionalism, and support from start to finish.
