  Don't ever rent from people... you will never get ahold of someone if you need something for your place... but God forbid you are late or miss something they will charge the crap out ofyou. Not counting the money that was never given back to me over $1,000. I paid their cleaning crew over $300. And they did a terrible job that the owner of the property charge me for the extra cleaning because she couldn't get a hold of anyone at 512 so see took it from my deposit... and I left messages after messages and they ignored me. They are horrible people.. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!

  Worst company I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing. I rented under this company for 2 years and it was a completely joke. Complete failure to communicate regarding home repairs in a timely manner (if at all), constantly looking to shift blame for issues to the tenant and make us shoulder the cost, sending out people for repairs that ended up being the laziest, quick fixes I'd ever seen. And upon moving out, they took it upon themselves to send us a bill for ALL of the things they never repaired that we had reported on several times. The audacity. Never ever rent a property under this company because they Do. Not. Care about you. They care about what they can charge you to live in a house that's literally falling apart. Save yourselves the time, money, and sanity and just put this one on your blacklist.

  After a year lease let me give potential tenants the run down… if I could leave a zero star review I would. My downstairs bathtub had a leak when I moved in. I have video proof of that, long story short, I moved out Jan 31 and it’s still leaking. For a full year I was never able to use that bathroom. I have proof of work orders and text correspondence with 512 Society with pictures in the thread with them saying someone would be out. So about 6 months in someone came out to fix it. He said he’d be ordering parts and he’d be back in a few weeks but he never came which led to the text thread with myself and someone from 512 Society. No one ever came back! Other things I hate, they require you to provide proof that the apartment has been professionally cleaned upon move out and look… I’m not unreasonable, if you leave the place nasty then by all means. But aside from the leaky bathtub, my apartment was left in exceptional condition! I mean move in ready. Having someone clean the unit would be a waste of money in my case! Lastly I used a 3rd party deposit company named Obligo. Not to the fault of 512 Society but I was charged a $500 renewal fee from Obligo (wrongly) and the only thing I needed from 512 for Obligo to refund me is for them to let Obligo know that I have vacated the unit and will not be renewing. 512’s response to me was “ we have a whole month to process security deposits and you can take that up with Obligo whenever we’re done”. What??? I just needed them to help me clear up a mistake so that I’m not out of $500 longer that I need to be! Who else has been in a moving to a new place situation??? Every dime counts right?? In conclusion I will not be doing any further business with 512 Society Property Management and nor do I recommend them to anyone! As you were…
