  James Copland was a miracle worker throughout the entire process and I can't recommend him enough. We went through a very complicated mortgage process involving a divorce, legal name change, a combative party with interest in the house, and every inch of red tape you could possibly imagine. James with with us every step of the way and ensured that once we were ready to go there weren't any mistakes. If you're looking for someone to get you through a quagmire of legal issues James is the guy.

  We’ve used Austin Mortgage twice and most recently for a cash out refinance. James provided such exceptional service along the way and was always very quick to respond to any questions via text or email.   James has helped us with our mortgage on our last two homes, along with many of our friends along the way. He is so knowledgeable about the industry, presented us with many options to accomplish our goals both when buying and refinancing (very patient and constantly educating us as we were first time buyers), and was a pleasure to work with and learn from the whole time. Cathy in his office was equally helpful and wonderful to work with. We will continue to send our friends and family to work with James and his team at AMA.

  My wife and I used James for our first home purchase in 2014 and he was amazing and explained every little detail to us. He was so good, we contacted him for our recent home purchase and nothing changed, still amazing! Zero issues, zero delay, clear communication...nothing better!

  My wife and I had the good fortune to have worked with Mr. James Copeland and his staff when financing our new home in Leander, TX, during the summer of 2017. James was extremely knowledgeable, and made the loan application as painless (and even, dare I say, fun!) as possible. James coordinated all of the loan application activities, and got us a VA loan in nearly record time with no complications or frustrations and with very favorable mortgage terms. I would certainly recommend using James Copeland and Austin Mortgage Associates when it comes time for you to finance, or possibly refinance a home.
