  Over priced , poor quality , bogus warranty by so called premium builder. Bought a house year back, after one year inspection, had to do some roof repair(Missing shingles), after the repair under warranty request , leaking water in 2nd floor after a week. Was fine before they stepped on roof. 13th month, it won't be covered in warranty they say "Act of god ". Not to mention fence repair under a year, not covered as well. Air pockets under floor makes noise when you step on... the list goes on and on.. Please save yourself the trouble..

  Very expensive and not worthy. 3000 sq ft costs 900k is a joke! These builders have made a deal with each other to fool general public by releasing only few houses at a time and this will not work for long!

  Feedback on Toll Brothers' Home Construction Experience The Good: The sales process is fairly structured, providing a clear guide to help potential buyers make decisions. While there could be better options and more comprehensive guidance, it seems the expectation is that buyers are already knowledgeable about new construction, which is not always the case. However, this is not a major issue. The Bad: Unfortunately, there are several significant issues that I encountered: Design Restrictions: I was informed that certain design options were not permitted by the city and/or HOA, which later turned out to be false. Outdoor Kitchen: The option for an outdoor kitchen was dropped with the claim that there was no space, despite the fact that the patio could have been extended to accommodate it. Backyard: Grading in the backyard is a joke, I was given a quote of $2k to level the backyard as it’s uneven to a point that we cannot walk. Don’t be fooled by the model home backyard. Quality Inspection: The quality of the inspection was poor. I had to replace my kitchen island twice due to defects. Bathroom Issues: The shower in one of the bathrooms developed calcium-like deposits on the tiles. Initially, this was attributed to poor maintenance, which felt discriminatory. Later, it was discovered that the issue was due to incorrect installation. Unfortunately, the problem reoccurred after five months, and I was told it was out of warranty. These issues, particularly the recurring problem with the bathroom tiles, raise serious concerns about the overall quality of the construction. Conclusion: I had assumed that Toll Brothers was a luxury builder, but my experience suggests they are no different from other builders. The name "Toll" seems fitting, as it has indeed taken a toll on my time and energy. And, they claim ‘Act of God’ for their mistakes in construction and faulty quality inspection. I hope this feedback helps future home buyers make a more informed decision.
