BUYER BEWARE: This property refuses to pay their contractors. One of their contractors came out to the property and completed nearly $100,000 worth of work at the property, They have not been paid in months, and all efforts to reach someone to try to resolve this matter outside of a courtroom have been ignored. I would not do any business with the property, the owners, or the management company,. Should you choose to do so despite this warning, I urge you to obtain payment up front, or you'll never see a single dollar.

I've only lived here a couple of months do not have a car. My mother passed after we moved in My sister came last night to take me to pick up our mom's ashes this morning only to find out they told her car hours after she got here. They would not help us there are no signs posted! If you come into this complex stay with your car if it's not registered because they will tow it and tell you good luck

I've lived on this property over 10 years. I recently had two separate flooding concerns. Angel was the first maintenance in the scene. He was polite, kind, knowledgeable and sympathetic to what I was going through. In fact, he went to other apts around mine to see if he could connect my leak to theirs. He moved my items, and did what he could to vacuum up water. He also was telling what he thought the flooding was stemming from. The plumbers came, and were working on my issue for about 2 days. They were going back and forth to my apt and my next door neighbor. Had to drill under my toilet. Then on Saturday, the 4th 9:45pm they left. Their job was done. They too took care of business. Worked hard and diligently. Always polite. Before leaving, I asked them a few questions. I won't lie, I didn't use my toilet until Sunday afternoon. So far so good with the work done. Being without hot water and not having the use of my toilet was a definite inconvenience, and I'll discuss my inconveniences with Corporate soon. During this process, I also met Jose. Also, polite, professional and diligent. Kudos to both of them being the only two maintenance team that I've seen on property. I give them much grace for that reason..They are doing the best they can with what appears to be many limitations; yet, they're always nice, upbeat, and enthusiastic.
My family has lived here for over a year and we’ve just renewed our lease for another. We love living at Parkwyn. The leasing office is great with us, and very good about answering any questions or addressing concerns. The maintenance team is awesome too. We did have the issue of some roaches, but we do live in Texas and the leasing office was quick to have pest control come out. We stopped seeing them within the week.
Jose & Angel on the maintenance crew have been awesome as well, they truly go above and beyond.
The highway can be something to adjust to initially, but for us, it’s become like a white noise over time. All in all, we would recommend Parkwyn strongly!
For the cost of monthly rent with sq footage is a plus, the huge downfall was the iffy water pressure for the longest then now it’s almost two weeks without any hot water. When asking the office staff it’s either we’re waiting on an answer from maintenance or the plumber. Some days there’s zero to little communication about the issue. If your favorite pass time when getting off work is to spend 2-3 hours boiling pots and buckets to wash yourself and kids after a long work day this is the place for you.
Updated.
Will be two weeks tomorrow with no hot water and being told it “should” be fixed today, which is what we’ve been told for the last week. Even then the water was shut completely off around 7:30pm last night and into this morning before leaving for work. I see the response from the owner about connecting to talk. If it’s like dealing with the office manager I’m better off saving my breath and crossing my fingers that eventually the hot water will work again instead. The last time this water issue happened it was for a week and the only compensation was 50.00 off rent. Yay.
