Huge shout out to Donald! He was a huge help fixing the under cabinet lights in the kitchen. While I thought it was just the bulbs, it ended up being the bulbs and a new unit. He has always been so great about getting things fixed quickly.

I am a big believer in providing feedback/reviews. I strongly feel a review, either positive or negative, is a learning tool. There was a recent review of the performance of the Venue at Hometown staff I feel I must address, since it does not accurately describe the situation, in my opinion. The night of the balcony disaster , all members of the team were immediately on site and working to ensure the safety of residents. I personally observed Trish Phillips reaching out to residents to support and to advise she was on top of the situation. To make the reader of his review think management, both Venue and Venterra, were not providingi support and answers is simply not true. I have lived in communities all over the US. I have never seen a more professional team as Venue. I attribute this quality of service to the leadership provided by Trish Phillips. I feel safe and secure in my home at Venue and have no plans to relocate. In addition, I want to recognize Ron for his attention to my maintenance needs. He was professional, handled my issues in an expeditious manner. He went above and beyond in his handling of my issues. He left my home stating I should always call, if I ever need anything. This wasn’t just a phrase he used, he really meant it. Well done, Ron!

Without second thought this is the best apartment community that we’ve ever lived in. Last week our water heater broke and immediately Ronald was able to get a new one installed. I happened to be working from home that day and he was very respectful and mindful while he was providing repairs which was greatly appreciated! This week I happened to be emailing with Trish and let her know that since the water heater was installed it’s not getting as warm as it was before. Ronald was back at my door very next morning to get it fixed and even recommended a great park for the kiddos to feed the ducks and play at. Thank you to the entire team of VENUE AT HOMETOWN! Y’all are the best!

My husband and I moved into our home at Venue in August 2024, and we LOVE living here! Apartment living will always have challenges, however, an incredible management team makes all the difference! Alyssa and Kara are gems to work with in the leasing office; they are efficient, knowlegable, and have the best interest of residents in mind. This is a direct reflection of the Property Manager, Trish Phillips. Her compassion, resolve, and kindness is EXACTLY why we will stay at Venue. She and her team, including our fantastic maintenance men, have made sure we are informed on the upcoming, unexpected renovations, and would highly recommend The Venue at Hometown!

I’ve lived at Venue at Hometown since June, and my experience has been unsafe and disappointing. My balcony — a major reason I leased here — has been completely inaccessible for four months, with no timeline for restoration.
The safety risks are real: I was awoken at 2 a.m. to fire alarms as my neighbor frantically removed items after water from a balcony above hers collapsed onto her balcony in the middle of the night.
I spoke with Community Manager Trish Phillips, but my formal complaint through the Venterra portal in September went unacknowledged for nearly a month. The compensation offered has been inadequate, and management and corporate responsiveness remain poor. I cannot recommend this property — residents should know serious issues may go unresolved, and safety may be at risk.
