- KMkrishna kanth meduriDec 18, 20241.0Base prices are low, but lot of hidden costs when you go for design center. No flexibility with dates. We have to be flexible with things when they have issues, but they would not do the same. When you try to question and get answers, first thing you will be reminded of is that you lose your deposit. Don't fall for the low base prices because lot of surprises at design center with pricing. At the time of closing also, they quote high interest rates which will indirectly compensate the 10k they offer you for closing with them. The only positive thing for us was our construction manager who is polite and respectful and would answer our questions. New things that I came to know.This community is in Flood and Tornado zone. Builder's warranty does not cover damages due to weather. Most of this information and anything that you want to know, get it in writing before signing the initial contract. They will disclose only some of this information and other details only at the time of closing. It will be late by then. Warranty is just a joke. Check everything by yourself. Most of the times, we focus on only things inside the house. Please focus on the outside stuff also like fence, roofing, walls etc. Fence was not setup correctly and broke due to recent storms and warranty does not cover. Check your cement flooring for bumps and if you are picking tiles for flooring, double check for cracks. Totally avoid buying a house from Pulte (no quality for the price we pay). If you want to, take everything in writing on warranty and also do all that before you pay the initial deposit. Once you have paid the deposit, all you will get to hear is threat about losing your deposit.

I told him what I am looking for and he pointed out the model for me. He then shared each and every upgrade that goes in and how much it costs.every detail has been provided to me. Next, I met Jesse after a month. He is friendly and keep giving the updates that I ask for. I clearly knew....they don't have the lots they can sell to all customers. But still, they responded courteously Everytime I walked in. I walked in more than 5 times so far and my name still didn't cut through the list yet. Not sure I get a lot or not....I buy a house or not....at least I get positive receiving whenever I walked in. I am not sure about the quality of the houses built by pulte....as I am not even a rookie in build quality things. All my post is just about the response I received when I walked in.
