  This is by far the worst experience I ever encountered applying for an apartment. I received a welcome invitation to set up service for lights, internet etc before even being approved. I requested photos of the place and so did the realtor 3 times, and I received a lease to sign before even getting photos of the property. To top it off photos were finally received the day they emailed the lease to sign a week later and looked nothing like the apartment I applied for with the backyard I didn’t even get photos sent to me of the yard. Not only that you have to have WhatsApp to even get photos what a complete waste of time and money. Now I’m being told that I have to fill out a form to get my admin fee back. I sent an email about this 03/11/2026 got no reply back it took me calling them instead 03/12/2026 to find this out. Nobody is on the same page at this place at all. I don’t need a reply but you guys have to work on making impressions. After reading the reviews looks like a made the right decision.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I just want to say how thankful I am for El Lago Apartments here in McKinney. My situation isn’t exactly standard, and they really worked with me through everything. They showed understanding and patience when they didn’t have to, and that meant a lot. The apartment itself is great — clean, quiet, and comfortable. But what really stands out is how they handle things. Anytime I’ve had a maintenance issue, it’s been taken care of quickly. The maintenance guy has always been polite, respectful, and easy to talk to. No attitude, no dragging things out — just gets it done. It’s hard to find places that treat you like a human being instead of just a lease number. I’m genuinely grateful for the way they’ve handled my situation and how smooth everything has been. Very thankful to be here.

  They took 185$ out of my account told me I’d hear from a manager and stop answering!!! the Mexican lady in the office got mad that I was upset and start talking to me crazy! DO NOT MOVE HERE DO NOT APPLY !! They will take money out of your account and disrespect you afterwards. I now paid 2 application fees and two admin fees for nothing atall !!
