We fully signed a lease and paid all fees and two days before our move in date they were trying to push out our move-in without giving us any explanation why. It came down to it being the day before our move in date so we had no choice but to move here. Sarah, the manager, called and admitted there was live roaches on the premises of our unit after us complaining that we have already arranged movers and had to be out of our previous home by a certain day and demanded an explanation of why our signed lease unit was not ready as expected. I attached a photo from our conversation at that time, that was recorded and it is the transcription of what Sarah stated about our unit. I repeat do not move here. Since we had already paid all deposits/rent. Paid ALL the fees needed, thousands of dollars and they told us within two days of our expected move in date they wanted to “push it out due to unit not being ready” we had no choice but to move into these apartments regardless of if we wanted to or not. We were placed in another unit because we absolutely refused to live in the one initially signed for since she admitted there were live bugs there. While living there we discovered black mold underneath the sink. They did a crap repair of screwing a fresh piece of wood over the issue hoping nobody would notice and the black mold started to form on top of the new piece of wood. There is dog poop all over the complex. The trash is overloaded with trash every week which also attracts rodents and bugs. There are absolutely no parking spaces available unless you pay for a specific one or get a garage. Our AC was not functioning correctly and I had to make the biggest deal just for them to fix it. Then obviously they didn’t fix whatever it was and our AC totally flooded into our laundry room. I literally could hear the maintenance guy fixing something with duct tape right before it happened then the next week there was two inches of water everywhere that seeped through the walls. Nothing was done after that incident to ensure it was fully cleaned and there was no mold that has formed through the walls. I have waited until our lease was up and we moved out to post this review to avoid tenant retaliation. Upon moving out we were charged for previous tenant damage and have absolutely no way to avoid these fees all because they want someone to pay for replacement of their carpet. Even if you take pictures and have proof that the unit looked great when you moved out they will still charge you for whatever they want. Also this apartments is obviously right next to a golf course, your car windshield/windows WILL get hit with a golf ball (or multiple) and trust me the apartments will not cover any damage. Fixing your vehicle will come out of your own pocket. AVOID THESE APARTMENTS AT ALL COST UNLESS YOU WANT TO HATE YOUR LIFE FOR A WHOLE YEAR AND DEAL WITH ISSUE AFTER ISSUE!!!
