My husband and I stopped by the leading office to look at an apartment for our daughter. The signs said closed back at 1:45. That meant we had to wait 4 minutes. 1:45 came and went … Finally, a young lady came walking up around 2:05pm. We were parked directly in front of the door. My husband was literally standing at the leasing office entrance door while I was standing outside our SUV. The young lady who works in the office, just walked right by us both without saying a word. A maintenance person rode up on an electric bike and unlocked the door and went inside without changing the close sign to open even though my husband was standing there! I do not recommend this apartment building to anyone! We are so happy that we decided to check out these apartments before my daughter did she will not be moving there everrrrr!!

I called prior to going to the office and asked the leasing agent if I could come in for a tour. She said sure I can come to the office. I told her I would be there in 10 minutes. I get to the office and there is a sign that says closed. I waited around for an additional 15 minutes and nobody came. Very rude and ignorant to tell someone to come then to blow them off. Just say you don’t have the availability like a normal person with common sense and decency.

Summit property manager Katie blackshear placed an out of the office sign on the door intentionally as I was trying to make my way into the office and gave me this rude smirk as she walked off. Katie attended Cypress falls high school along with her daughter Anya who also works there. They never answer the phones, they will have the water shut off without any notice and the gates are always left open. Maintenance will enter your unit unauthorized and out of uniform making it difficult to identify that they work there. There penalizing and charging late rent for amenities. I had my rent charged to another tenant account because we share the same last name. They intentionally place maintenance and other Summit Office workers to live all around your unit to constantly Disturb and harass you. There are stray animals roaming the property, Overflow trash, Broken cracked parking lot foundation, Overcrowded parking, Overflowing dumpsters, lights out, broken into mail boxes, clutter and trash on Porches, Unregistered abandoned vehicles, trust passers, unauthorized tenants and convicted felons on site. Solicitors knocking at your door, Roaches and mice. They’re slow to correct AC problems, The walls are thin you can hear inside other units, Tenants playing loud music outside, Children playing too close to vehicles unattended, The lawn service leaves grass on your vehicles every week, my tub was painted over dirty And started to peel shortly after, the carpet was already used I requested it to be clean the month I moved in. They had old appliances the place need to caulked and sealed. If you live in front of the pool they play loud music until after hours on the weekend. Management enter your apartment without authorization to do so. Katie And her daughter resides in this area and went to school, which causes favoritism and conflict of interest. After expressing my concerns they blocked me out of my apartment portal and I was unable to pay my last months rent , I was told my Apartment was up for renovation and there were no available 1 bedroom for me to move into they have 3 properties in range and they were not allowing me to sign my lease over I was blocked out of the apartment portal and unable to pay my rent or sign my lease over.

I would strongly caution anyone considering moving to The Grove Apartments on Easton Commons Dr. Living here has been extremely frustrating and honestly feels unsafe. There have been multiple cars broken into repeatedly throughout the property. Management does not seem to take the situation seriously. When incidents happen, the office refuses to release camera footage or provide any real assistance, leaving residents to deal with the damages on their own. The security gates are always open or broken, which defeats the purpose of having a gated community. On top of that, there is no security presence at all, which only makes the situation worse. The pest problem is also out of control. There are rats and roaches throughout the complex, yet residents are charged for pest control services. The problem is that an exterminator rarely or never actually comes. Maintenance is another major issue. I have submitted multiple work orders that have gone unresolved for months with little to no communication from the office. Amenities that residents are supposed to have access to, like the gym and laundry room, are frequently inaccessible or closed, despite being part of what we are paying for. Overall, living here feels like a liability rather than a home. Between the safety concerns, poor maintenance, pest issues, and lack of accountability from management, this complex seriously needs to do better for the people who live here.
