  Repairs to the home can be stressful and frustrating, but sometimes they’re absolutely necessary. After a series of back-to-back lightning strikes, the power in my home began blinking on and off until several rooms lost electricity completely, and the garage door stopped functioning properly. Closing the door became quite a challenge — especially at 70! A work order was quickly created, and a few days later Sean arrived to assess the problem. He was knowledgeable, patient, and thorough, explaining each step in a way that made everything easy to understand. He took the time to answer all my questions and made sure I was comfortable with the process. Once the repair was approved, Sean returned and completed the work promptly and professionally. Not only did he restore the lighting throughout my home, but he also installed a brand new garage door opening system complete with a new remote. Everything now works perfectly, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. I truly appreciate Sean’s professionalism, Tina’s efficiency, and the entire team’s prompt attention in getting everything back up and running.   This company is the worst. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! You will get screwed!!!! I was a great tenant for 17 months. I gave appropriate notice (actually longer then they asked for), was never late on the payment and followed the lease that was outlined. First I had to clean the house when I originally moved in because it was gross (there was still pubic hair in the shower when I moved in), on my own I also weeded/ replanted the garden that was horribly over grown when I moved in, replaced outlet covers, and replaced a screen window because there was no screen in it. I cared for this house as if it were mine. After giving notice, They show the house while you are still living there (which is so awkward) and I even allowed them to show the house (I was still living in) while I was away on vacation for 9 days 2,000 miles away. Making me very fearful of it being broken into while I was away. When I moved out I completed every item outlined in the lease...I got it professionally cleaned, had carpets professionally cleaned, had the house sprayed for fleas, spiders, etc, had lawn mowed/edged, and replaced the air filters. Once I got my deposit back a month after moving out I was charged $179 for carpet cleaning and $20 for a new air filter! I called Rebecca Roeber at the Terra Residential office to let her know that couldn’t be right since i had told her I was doing these things and I had just done them. And I had my receipts. She asked for me to email my receipt and then said she would send my refund difference after getting approval from the owner. Time passes and no response! Every time I call or email Rebecca states she can’t get in touch with the owner. Seriously it takes months to reach the owner? But wasn’t a problem to send initial refund 30 days after? And I’m sure there would be a quick response if I didn’t pay the rent? So After 6-7 emails, 5-6 calls and 4 1/2 months pass, I find out they decided they won’t refund my money since they paid for services themselves! So not only do I pay for services myself, because the lease said I needed to, but now I pay for it a second time because they said (4 1/2 months later) “it still smelled like dog”! Total scam because they said everything looked great 2 days after I moved out when I called them to check in! Total disorganized mess at this company, rude employees that don’t have time to do their jobs, and shady deposit practices. Thankfully I moved into my own home and will never have to do business with people like this again. Hopefully you won’t need to either.....Steer clear
