Imagine having to pay an extremely high water bill due to your toilet being broken and rigged up multiple times then I was smacked with an extra $140 to pay. I reached out to the apartment management and emailed. The manager did not email me back until after I called back about the issue. Basically there was nothing they could do for me which is extremely frustrating and ridiculous. I have NEVER been late paying my rent. I fill this water bill should not have been my fault. I have pictures and videos I am unable to upload video. It took them about a week 1/2 to actually fix this matter.

I terminated my lease early for the following reasons:
1. Upon touring the model apartment I asked "do these nice kitchen appliances and glass top stove come standard for all units?" in which the tour guide said "yes". It turns out they are not standard at all and I got "landlord special" kitchen appliances.
2. Without explanation, I was moved to a different apartment unit than I had signed for before move-in.
3. The parking situation is pretty bad with guests and one of my guest's car got towed. (Albeit I forgot to allocate them a parking permit but it still sucks to get dinged $300 because I forgot to hit a button)
4. I lived there for 6 months and not a single pothole was filled nor front gate fixed without getting broken again like a couple days later.
5. The AC I got stuck with is on its last legs and clearly needed replacement, I asked management to expedite replacement to no avail. It stopped working completely many times. I think from the AC model info I could find online, they were discontinued from being manufactured in 2005.... (Trane XB1000 model if you're curious)
6. Gunshot occurrences happening too frequently...
7. Racoons in the attic fighting all the time in building 8... Never got fixed even with multiple maintenance requests. This one was really annoying because they were active during twilight and would wake me / prevent me from sleeping. Apparently I'm not the only one complaining about this in the google reviews as well.
8. Lastly but CERTAINLY not least. There was a software glitch in their rent payment system that lost my rent money for a hot second. An eviction notice was served to me unnecessarily and continued even after I provided proof of payment from my bank. It was eventually cleared up, rent money found, and the eviction notice was voided, but this became my final straw that made me terminate my lease early.
I really hope that waterside can improve upon the reasons why I left early. (like seriously fixing a pothole can't be THAT expensive of an endeavor right?)
