  Attention: "The Reserve at City Center North" Houston Tx. After reading all of your past and present residents reviews! I have no desire to move into any of your properties as a person of interest. I thank "Yeshua" for the people's reviews when you are from another state transitioning researching and word of month, networking is important. This helps also to acknowledge the "Pro & Cons" of any apartment properties that I may or not have an interest in. Sorry for those formal residents who experience these uncomfortable and unpleasant situations! During that time in their life. However, I pray, new residents do not experience the same problems in the future as well as now in 2026 and changes have been implemented due to new laws. Example: Repair and Remedy Reforms (Texas Property Code 92.0563) Tenants can sue in Justice Court without an attorney for repairs that affect health/safety, potentially reducing rent during the process. Fair Housing Act Enforcement: Houston Housing and Community Development protects against discrimination in rentals based on race, religion, sex, family status, or disability. Safety Repair Duty: Landlords must make a "diligent effort" to repair conditions that materially affect the physical health or safety of a tenant, provided the tenant is current on rent. Texas laws taking effect in 2025-2026, such as SB 38 and SB 1333, empower landlords to combat squatters and fraud while streamlining evictions, indirectly affecting how property managers handle unauthorized residents. Key protections for tenants include faster, often electronic, repair-and-remedy processes for health/safety violations and enhanced fair housing regulations.

  Quiet and peaceful neighborhood, maintenance for the most part stayed on top of things. Leasing consultant Ruth was very kind, office manager Alyssa was awesome and very welcoming throughout my experience. Oh and easy access to the beltway lol. I loved my experience staying here

  I had such an amazing experience working with Alyssa! She helped me get into my new home super quickly and made the whole process so easy. Her communication was great from start to finish—she always made sure I was updated and that everything was ready before move-in. The home was beautiful and exactly what I wanted. You can tell Alyssa truly cares about her clients. I’m so thankful for all her help and definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a new place!

  These apartments are not nearly as nice as the ones where I live at about 10 minutes away yet for some reason they cost about $120-150/month MORE for LESS square footage in an apartment that isn’t even as updated. Why? Not only that, it’s indicated that they are going to charge you for simple things like maintenance requests and regular parking even if you live there… the state of multi-family in Houston is piss-poor, obviously. I would advise people looking to rent in this area to make sure to compare costs versus amenities before signing a lease!
