  Terrible experience. I filled out a pre approval application on Sunday and was provided a phone call (which I thought was odd because it’s usually a email provided) stating my application was denied. When I asked why, they said because of an eviction/broken lease. So I asked how old it would have needed to be for me to meet the criteria to rent. She advised before 2022. I advised that that happened in 2018. I asked to speak to the manager. Daniel got on the phone and suggested that he was the manager and that he denied it and that I’d receive an email on why. When I tried to explain the case and ask to speak to someone higher up, he told me there was no one above him and proceeded to disconnect the call. I called back to get the name of the woman who called as well as the number to corporate and was refused. She then advised that someone from corporate was there and put her on the phone. I again explained my situation and advised that I had my credit reports pulled and did not see why I was denied if they work with the criteria before 2022. She then stated that I had something on my credit from 2023. I asked her what that was as I have rented after that and had good standing with the last place and been living with relatives. She was very dismissive and stated that I’d get an email. So I asked for the number to corporate. She was very hesitant to provide it, stating that she is from corporate. I told her once I received the email I’d like to make a formal complaint. She finally provided her name and the number to corporate. I am still waiting on the email with the reason for the denial.

  They’ll get back to you and tell you to give them a call. Once you do, be prepared to be ignored through emails and follow-up calls. I even had to call from my work phone for them to pick up, but they wouldn’t answer the number I originally called from. If this is how they handle communication now, this is likely the level of service they’ll continue to provide—ignoring calls. Thank you Nelda Lopez for ignoring all my calls.

  I applied they took my money, and the application was reset and so were all the 1 star reviews were aswell.
