  ​I am extremely disappointed with the management at Skyler Point. My experience highlights a predatory approach to leasing that prioritizes fine print over basic fairness. ​We were looking to move our family of five into the complex, but the final costs on the "back end" were significantly higher than initially discussed. Because of this discrepancy, we decided not to move in. Despite the following facts, management refused to refund our $400 move-in special: ​No Possession: I never received keys and never set foot in the unit. ​Minimal Impact: The apartment was only off the market for 1–2 days. ​Unit Condition: The apartment wasn't even ready for move-in at the time of the dispute. ​Vague Verbiage: While they claim the signed lease entitles them to keep the funds, the language regarding these specific fees is incredibly "shaky" and lacks transparency. ​It is disheartening that a company would intentionally put a large family out of $400 for a unit they never occupied and that wasn't even prepared for them. I would advise anyone looking here to double-check every hidden cost and expect zero empathy or flexibility from the front office. ​

  Patsy has good communication skills, thrives to make everyone comfortable and happy, tries her best to accommodate and achieve any problems that anyone has. The apartment alone could do better with the hottub working better or fences being fixed or ants being sprayed for, but the team alone (Patsy) has made the place a good living space

  I have been a tenant here for 2 years and have dealt with a couple of different property managers. However I would like to specifically mention the current property manager Patsy Slaughter in this review. When Ms. Patsy began working at Skylar Pointe, she inherited the issues that come along with an older property in general. We have encountered some bumps in the road along the way specifically because it is in fact an older property. I have been immensely impressed with the way she and all other members on staff have dealt with the issues in such a methodical way and always handled each one with the same compassion and care you would expect from a family member or friend. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star review is because of the maintenance problems we have encountered. As far as the service received when the issues were brought up the maintenance staff, as well as the office personnel and specifically the property manager Patsy Slaughter are all top notch in my opinion.

  Terrible place to live. Won't even replace air filters. We have mold and roaches and my mom is getting sick. I have nose bleeds. My sister is having itchy watery eyes. I can't believe they are treating us like this 😔 Edit: my mother has been in constant contact with the manager. The maintenance people lie about our dog being out when he goes into his kennel anytime they are here. Maintenance has refused to fix things in our home. We have cameras inside our home to prove it. They are making up lies to try to kick us out of our home because they know they are wrong. They keep showing up unannounced and without letting my mom know while we are gone and saying we are refusing to let them in. They keep showing up unannounced and blaming the dog being out for them not doing anything. How is my mommy supposed to put the dog away when she is gone and we are at school? How is she supposed to know to put him up when she is never told when they will come? This place doesn't care at all. We have mold and roaches and my mom keeps getting sick be of it. They are trying to make my little sister and I lose our friends at our schools and my teachers 😢 don'tovs here. They are not good people. They called the cops on my mommy for complaining about mold
