DO NOT MOVE IN HERE!!!!! They have roaches, duck feces everywhere, and you can never get a hold of them. We lived with roaches for 15 months and it was absolutely disgusting. See the attachment if you want a preview of your new roommates! We even tried to get a specialized treatment to deal with the issue and it did absolutely nothing because the property is so filthy. It was also impossible to even get pest control to come out because you can’t submit a maintenance request for it. You have to call or email. They never look at either. The only way you can get hold of someone is by saying you’re interested in touring the property. If you have any other question they will not pick up the phone. In the 15 months we lived there, the dishwasher broke and it took 2 weeks to get it replaced. The AC broke multiple times and shower was leaking close to when I left. The gate is constantly broken as well. Back at the beginning of the year they sent out an email stating that crime was increasing in the area and then proceeded to not get it fixed for months after that. This gate has not worked for more than a week when I lived there. Save your money and go somewhere else!! Editing to add they send your last bill immediately to debt collectors!! I’ve never lived somewhere that does this. They are the most money hungry broken place!

Do your research before moving here lived here for a little over a year now nobody ever answers the phone it’s takes weeks sometimes even months for things to get fixed Ykengia Velez is rude also whatever your rent is add 200-300 on top of that for amenity fees (the amenities aren’t great) then you pay all this money and you can’t even have/use a grill on your patio

It was great at first but since the gate it’s open all the time.! There’s no control over the people who comes in and goes out.! Friendly place but horrible security.! And people in the office act to be nice just to keep customers.! But out of the office they don’t care.!

I want to start this review by saying that Cameron especially, Christian before he left, and Aaron in maintenance all were great to me for the entire tenure of my stay and I have no qualms with the way they treated me. Always professional, friendly, and quick to respond if you got in front of them and talked face to face. I lived in apartment 1812 for one year and then moved to apartment 423 after the lease was up to downsize and because we enjoyed our experience at 1812 so much. We regretted the decision to stay almost immediately and were in a 15 month lease. Just moved out in the beginning of September. First and foremost, when we got to 423, we had to have our refrigerator replaced day one due to roaches being INSIDE the refrigerator. The roach problem never subsided. We ended up having to buy our own bait and diatomaceous earth to try and hold them back ourselves and that was enough to make the place livable at least, but they were a continuous nuisance for the entire lease. We noted on our move in inventory form that the dishwasher was not working and it was never replaced. This was not a major problem as we hand wash our dishes anyways, but just shows me that they are not reading the move in inventory forms. The amount of times that the office sends a notice that they will be entering your apartment is out of control. I swear there were months long stretches where it felt like every single week we would have to prep for someone to come in for annual inspection or patio repair or fire alarm inspection or sprinkler inspection or something else we didn’t ask for. Leave your residents alone. The gate never works and when they fix it, it breaks again two or three days later. The communication with the office is a PROBLEM. If you need anything, forget calling them cause you won’t get anyone on the line, only an AI chat bot. I worked about an hour away with traffic and if I needed anything I would have to leave work early to make it into the office to talk to someone because calling or emailing isn’t an option. I had to remind them that I sent my 60 days move out notice in an email, and then when I turned in my keys on Saturday, 09/06, they called me on 09/09 when my lease was officially up and asked me if I was going to come turn in my keys before close. The managed wifi was a total disorganized nightmare when they switched over to it and it resulted in me and my wife not having internet in our home for a whole week. We had to talk to the Xfinity rep at the open house they held to get anything done about it. The “valet” trash people will leave boxes if you set them out to be taken, and continuously throw bags from the 2nd and 3rd floor to the ground and they bust open and then they just leave the trash all over the place until the poor maintenance guys have to clean it the next day. Mailboxes are a PROBLEM. There is no cameras in the mail area so no one can be held accountable, but there are continuous mailbox break ins leading us to have to go to a post office to pick up mail for the last month or two we lived there. I guess there’s some kind of pissing match going on where the apartment says that the post office is going to fix the boxes and the post office says the apartment is responsible for it, but at the end of the day, the RESIDENTS suffer because we can’t trust that our mail will be there when we check for it. It really feels like since Christian left the quality of the complex has gone downhill. Maybe it is just coincidence that also coincided with my change of apartment units, and I just got a bad unit the second time, but seeing some of these other reviews, I think it may just be a bad apartment complex now. Very unfortunate because I lived there in 2016 and it was great and my first lease of these last two leases, in 2023/24, was great as well. 2 stars because of good previous experience.

*Editing review to respond to the comment* *Nobody has responded to my email. I have not been in contact with you. You have only been in very slight and vague contact with my husband but have not addressed many things at all.* Disgusting community. My apartment has a ROACH infestation in my kitchen and bathroom that I have tried to remediate with maintenance and on my own - with 0 resolution. Pest control came out but it did NOTHING. I literally had a roach have babies on my bathroom towel and when I picked it up to dry my hands, the babies flung all over me. THIS IS RIDICULOUS WATERTON. The landing, stairs, and around front doors in my entire building has trash, mold growing on the walls, stains, bug and egg sacs on the walls and ceilings, and burned out lights. I am being charged $1,630 for BASE rent, but yet the base rent on the website for the exact same unit and floor and building is about $1400-$1500. The fees on top of the base rent are very high, which brings my 2 bedroom apartment up to over $1,830 per month. That is way too high for a small run down 2 bedroom apartment. I had my car broken into during the night a few months ago and attempted to be stolen. They smashed the window, there was a broken off screw driver in the ignition, and costed me thousands in repairs. My mental and physical health has been affected from all these problems. I am also being charged 55 dollars for trash, but when I signed my lease, the lease agreement says trash is 25 dollars. Their excuse is that theres too much furniture being left at the dumpsters. THAT IS NOT MY PROBLEM I DO NOT LEAVE FURNITURE THERE. That is YALLS EXPENSE to deal with. I have left messages to the front office to see why my trash bill is so high, but nobody returns any calls. I also pay for a pest fee and common maintenance fee every month but I see ABSOLUTELY 0 pest issues resolved and no common maintenance being done on my building. About 2 weeks ago, my entire buildings wifi and ethernet went out. They said it was the wiring in the building and that it has to be replaced. I still have no wifi yet I am paying 70$ a month for internet services. My job requires me to be on the internet and phone and this is very unacceptable for it to have gone on for this long. I am going to speak to Waterton corporate about this. This absolutely cannot go on any longer. I will also go to all local news stations, social media sites, google reviews, yelp reviews, etc. and let the entire world know to STAY AWAY from this absolute overpriced repulsive apartment complex. STAY AWAY FROM HERE! I AM LITERALLY BEGGING YOU TO NOT MOVE HERE.
