  I just moved in recently, and wanted to give a review of the move-in process. Charlotte with the leasing team was extremely helpful and patient helping me find a unit and getting moved in. The move-in process was extremely smooth, and everything in the unit was ready to go when I arrived. I appreciate the MMD team for giving me a seamless move in process.

  The stars that I’m giving ate for the staff. I would give them five stars if it wouldn’t skew this review. Miss April and Miss Juanita and everyone else is super helpful and timely and I really appreciated them during my time there Although I did face some financial struggles, my main reason for moving out was because of the roach infestation that caused me to lose all of my furniture. My credit is impacted by a broken lease, I’m finding it difficult to rent other places. So that is disheartening but if you’re looking to lease here, please avoid building eight at all costs. I moved out of apartment 8304. They crawled on the ceilings and fell into my kids beds while sleeping. They would crawl out the stove when you would start cooking, they were in the fridge and in the ice maker. I was not even able to cook in the unit after a while because of the roach infestation they’d be on us in our bags everywhere. I didn’t even get to unpack most of my stuff, but still had to toss it out because the roaches got into the boxes and movers refused to move my things for fear of contaminating their own truck. The exterminator will try and say it’s how you keep the home but the entire 7 months I was there most of my things stayed in bins/boxes because I could not comfortably unpack and set things up. I only stayed as long as I did because I had just laid $2K+ to move and could not afford to just move back out. I communicated often with my neighbors, their apartments were severely infested as well. This was not just a me problem.

  This is a good apartment complex. We lived here for years. The apartments themselves are nice. The maintenance was always quick to respond and did a great job fixing it up. Some of the renewal differences in rent were a bit high, but not every year. The only really main negatives is sometimes the office can be a bit misleading on how they verbally tell you apartment policies so double check the actual paper. They are normally really nice though. Also the pool and front gate seem to always be broken/out of service. Also one last tip, some of the 3rd floor apartments have older less than ideal ACs so give it a check outside before you get one. Its easy to tell which have been upgraded and which are tiny rust buckets.

  Return resident , One of the best apartments in Grand Prairie, office staff is so nice, and Jose the maintenance man is wonderful , quick response from both.

  Roaches, roaches, roaches!!! The whole of building 8 is infested with them. This has been the worst experience of my life. We’re forced to replace everything we own because the infestation got so terrible.
