My husband and I moved in this month. We love our new apartment and the beautiful neighborhood. Eva P., the leasing manager, was amazing and very helpful. We highly recommend Eva and Cypress Lake to anyone looking for a great place to live.

I lived in these apartments for almost 4 to 5 years, and my experience was very bad from the beginning.
From the time I moved in, I had ongoing issues with the stove. Maintenance would come, put tape on it, and leave, but the problem was never properly fixed.
Over time, a roach infestation started. They were climbing the walls and even getting into my bed. I always kept my apartment clean, but no matter how many pest treatments they did, the problem only got worse.
When I was pregnant, I asked the assistant manager the one that was there by that time, if I could be transferred to another unit, because I wanted a safer place for my baby and I was still under lease. She told me they could not move me because I would supposedly bring the infestation to another apartment, and that what I needed to do was move out. I received no real help or solutions.
I waited a few months until I could move into my new home, and after I moved out, I received a $444 bill, claiming that when I moved in they never charged me for water, trash, and other fees. Don’t even get me started on the deposit.
I do not recommend living in this complex. On top of that, the manager never spoke directly to me or my husband; it was always the assistant. I work in a leasing office and I know that a good manager communicates directly with residents.
They seriously need to change management.

This place is amazing… on the surface. Once you get past the pool and the gym (that’s always closed), you get to the side of cypress lake that is awful. From the fact that you’ll see your rent increase randomly throughout your lease. To the fact they don’t tell you to register your car, or you’ll be booted. And the INSANE amount of rats. It all feels like a scam.

Rented a unit here from Sept 2024 to Sept 2025, the amount of rats at the dumpsters is God awful. They implemented new visitor parking with unclear instructions and even office staff did not have answers to questions, nor the towing company as they kept referring back to each other. Very much a scam
Renewing the lease was a jump of $300 in rental fees, with a "promotion" until the last month when they offered to "work with me for a price we can agree on." No thank you, very shady tactic.
In moving out I had a balance to pay, when I asked for a breakdown on what my security deposit had already covered, they ignored my request and sent me what they were charging instead. I had unanswered emails and unreturned phone calls when I tried to get in contact for what I had asked for.
Office staff seems friendly enough, there is no schedule to know when they will pr won't be in office so prepare to be outside waiting if they are offering tours, and dropping off the keys / signing the release form they refused to schedule an appointment for. No communication on when they are or aren't in office.
