  Great apartment and easy move-in experience. I came to Avilla from Pennsylvania and was moving in over a weekend when the office was closed. Jennifer and Breklyn were great with answering my many questions thru email and over the phone since I was coming from out of state and not able to see the property before signing the lease. They were able to get everything set up and provided the code to the front door ahead of time so I was able to start moving in as soon as I got here. I love their mobile apps and smart home features. I received an alert that the battery for the front door lock was low while I was still in PA and within a few hours of opening a maintenance request online, Carter already fixed the issue. The only complaint I have is the lack of hardwired internet connections. There is one in the bedroom for a TV and there's one in the living room for a TV. A couple more on other walls would really be nice as I work from home and have multiple computers. Using wifi is never as fast or reliable as a wired connection.

  I lived here for almost 2 years with no issues. I left because I purchased a home, but I want to warn people that Avilla Oakridge is a nice place to live but they are NOT TRUSTWORTHY. Let me preface this by saying that I have always received full deposit back at every apartment I’ve ever lived in until Avilla Oakridge. They charged me $450 for damages and $250 to resurface the patio. The damages were me painting an accent wall back to the color that THEY gave me to return it to the original color. I asked their office for the color specifically, went to purchase the paint and it wasn’t the right color (it was slightly lighter). Every apartment I’ve been at has always said that I just need to prime accent walls as part of their policy when leaving. However, Avilla Oakridge said because it was not returned to the original color it was considered damaged. They gave me back at $200 credit for an “attempt” since I did consult their office prior to in order to get the paint color. I still didn’t think this was fair because basically they were transferring their flip-over fee to me. Also, I record all apartments after I leave and I looked at the back porch and there were no cracks just dry dirt that shouldn’t require $250 worth of resurfacing. I was given a customer service number to reach out to by management and I called every Wednesday for a month and absolutely NO ONE returned my call to address my concerns with the fees that were added to my account upon leaving. I was prepared to give them a good rating until this HORRENDOUS move out experience.

  This place is super amazing! And Deanna is so so sweet! All of the staff are very patient and helpful. 10/10 would recommend Avilla Oakridge!

  DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME… the apartment is nice but the fee are horrible. There’s a fee for everything. You pay an amenity fee, but there’s no amenities. Only barbecue grills, grass and a dog park that the kids use to play. There’s limited FREE parking .. you have to get home before early to get a free parking spot so you are forced to buy a covered parking spot and or garage. But other people will still park in your paid spot and there’s no tow company. You pay a pest fee but never receive any pest treatments. There’s is a pool but NO GYM… on top of your rent you will pay $100s in fees.
