I was here for more than 6 months, I waited to finalise my contract and the previous waiting days to leave. Even so, excessive fees were received when leaving, which were incongruous. The people in charge assured that there would be no extra costs and weeks after leaving the apartment they made meaningless and exaggerated charges.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!! Lakeview at Parkside is a decent place to live. My only issue is when you move out. Extremely terrible! I had to cancel my lease early and move closer to home, due to family reasons, and let me tell you they attempt to get every penny from you. Along with my $2.8k lease cancellation I was charged over $500 in “damages and repairs”. I’ve living there for about 2 years. I’m getting charged for a stovetop resurfacing, which you can see from move in pictures already has cloudy spots and over time obviously just keeps getting worse. I am also getting charged with carpet cleaning, which I had a rug over the carpet since I moved in as well as had it cleaned myself before move out. The cherry on top is that a weeks before my move out date I asked management if I could schedule a walk through with myself to verify everything is in good shape…denied every time. Then the day of comes and I go to the front and ask the ladies in person… “oh he’s sick”. The 1 person in the whole management team who can do a walkthrough is sick. Can’t you guys do it, or the manager, nope nobody but him. Overall terrible move out process. Let alone the ARS agency they use, doesn’t know how to pick up a phone or use their email.

I’ve lived here since January 2023. This is honestly one of my favorite communities I’ve ever lived at. I’ve enjoyed watching the generations of Canadian Geese hatch their babies here. The neighbors are usually very respectful toward the wildlife. I’ve had a paid parking spot since I moved in, so I have no issues finding a spot like the other reviewers mentioned. In the summertime, the pool is well maintained except for when there’s loud music. Sometimes management sends an email about it, but it doesn’t always stop people from being inconsiderate about their volume and bass. Neighbors sometimes go down to tell them to turn it down. The one thing I will agree with is the lack of communication from management. It can take a LOT of emails, and I say emails because I’ve been told calling doesn’t work by the office as they can’t log it. I found that a bit shocking. I sadly had a noise complaint which was settled thankfully, but the amount of time it took to find a resolution was terrible. I know they mentioned they would follow up with me, but they haven’t. So reviewers are right about the bad communication. They don’t answer all questions sadly, as I never got an appropriate response about what the quiet time hours are (if there are any). Other than that, I’m happy with the location. Grocery stores aren’t too far and I love taking a walk to Vitruvian Park as well. I do plan on staying.
