- EGEmma GrotematFeb 3, 20261.0Do not live at The Lorimer. This has been an absolute nightmare and is genuinely not a safe or responsible place to live. My apartment flooded due to issues caused by the property, and many of my personal belongings were destroyed. Management offered little to no real support, and communication has been inconsistent and dismissive throughout the entire process. Chyna Thomas, the Assistant General Manager, has been one of the worst “managers” I have ever dealt with — unhelpful, unprofessional, and completely unwilling to take accountability or provide solutions. Also, the renters insurance they push residents to pay for is basically a scam. When my belongings were damaged, I was told it would not cover my personal items, even though the damage was caused by the apartment’s own negligence. Between unsafe living conditions, poor management, and zero resident care, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
- ADAbhi DondetiJan 26, 20261.0Roaches and bugs. Disgusting apartments. Fire alarms EVERY SINGLE MORNING. Predatory towing that could end up costing you and especially your guest $300+. I lived in a couple of terrible predatory student apartments but Lorimer is definitely the worst.
