Moved here in 2021 and couldn’t wait to move out this year. In 2024 my apartment was overrun OVERRUN w rodents. When I complained they patched one hole but refused to look elsewhere until I demanded that they move appliances (to which they found a NEST in between the walls.) they relocated me “free of charge”
This year they started to push “lease renewals” 6 months in advance. Which they didn’t do to any of my neighbors. Talk about trying to run us out!
When I moved out they failed to communicate any updates about the deposit, until I called. They then turned around and said that my repairs were unsatisfactory (which wasn’t communicated) and that I actually owed them more money and only gave me 1 day to pay.
In 2021 they were extremely professional. In 2026, under the new management they only care about the new apartment complexes and finding ways to up charge.
The only thing about this is the location. You’re better off finding newer builds w. More space and the same prices. Never recommending this place again!

I had a very negative, frustrating and confusing experience dealing with this company. The process lacks transparency and organization. Fees and personal information were collected without clear explanations of who handles them, where they go, or how they’re managed.
Communication was one of the biggest issues. I found it difficult to get straightforward answers about available units.
Another concern was the lack of clarity around the properties themselves. I wasn’t able to get direct confirmation about important living conditions, which made it hard to feel confident moving forward. There also didn’t seem to be a clear point of accountability—no one could clearly explain who was responsible for what.
I also felt uncomfortable with how interactions were handled at times. While I can’t speak to intent, the process didn’t feel equally accessible or straightforward, especially if your background or name might not be familiar to them.
Overall, the experience left me feeling that there are better options available. For slightly higher rent, you can find other properties in the same area that offered much clearer communication, better professionalism, and more confidence in the process.

The village bend has been the best living experience I’ve ever had. They are all so very helpful. I recently had my carpet replaced and new paint as they allowed me to have it two toned. Ana is so awesome as well as the village team. I highly recommend living here.

I used to really love this community had great amenities however as I go onto my renewal it’s becoming more difficult for me to stay. I have talked to previous residents before and they mentioned to me each year we renew our lease it would go up about 100$ as I renew it they told me my rent would go up 75$. And as I’ve been here the roach problem has gotten unbearable I have different species of roaches in my apartment I have told them on many occasions I have a small child in my apartment and this is unacceptable the infestation guy told me the “big roaches” are bound to happen due to the area and there’s really not much he can do about them. Today was a end point when I was just casually laying on my couch and I had a huge roach crawl right next to my face. I had added pictures if you don’t believe me. The people at the office tell me that they would send pest control but pest control is telling me he’d spray and if it doesn’t work they will inject stuff into the walls however why not now why not go extreme to begin with because I guarantee if it were them they would not want to live in these conditions themselves.

Today is 1/27/26 Dallas is still dealing with a winter storm, it is 33 degrees out right now. For some reason my heat again is not working and blowing 62 degrees when I had it set to 70 degrees. This happened about a month ago and maintenance serviced the heating unit. Now to present today I called at 8:30pm and was told by the on call maintenance person I had to wait until 9pm to make the request. I call at 9pm to make the request. I am then told I have 7 people in front of me and I will need to wait until 9am on 1/28/26 before I can have my heat system serviced. The on call person now tells me he lives an hour away and that’s why I have to wait. Needless to say don’t move here. Since management has changed hands I have only had problems after problems.
