  I’ve really enjoyed living at San Mateo Forest. The community is peaceful, well-maintained, and has a welcoming atmosphere that makes it feel like home. The staff is friendly and responsive, always quick to help with any questions or maintenance needs.

  He vivido en San Mateo Forest desde hace 22 años, Hilda y Carolina han sido las mejores managers que la propiedad ha tenido. Sin duda recomiendo vivir en esta propiedad. Esta cerca del freeway, esta a 10 minutos del centro, super buena ubicacion y muy tranquilo

  BEWARE!!!!!!!! These reviews are misleading and don’t believe the number of 5-star ratings that they have received- they are either bought or made by the complex themselves. My experience was completely the opposite, staff were unprofessional, disrespectful, and rude. At one point, I was even asked for my personal email password so they could check my account after they claimed to have sent messages that were never received, which is completely inappropriate. Additionally, my full deposit was not returned despite complying with all move-out requirements and leaving the unit in better condition than when I moved in. There should be a option to leave 0 stars.

  First, we have toured apartments, townhomes, and even houses (mostly duplexes available) in the area, and living here is hands down the best deal overall. We especially like it compared to others because it's not on any busy, main roads. It's located in a very quiet, SAFE, and pet friendly neighborhood (Hollywood/Santa Monica). Second, although there's no gym here, it is at least close to White Rock Lake. There's even a multi-use trail to get there behind the complex. We've gone running and bicycling there and have even used the trail just to walk to the Arboretum Shopping Center to shop for groceries. *Tip* There's a Food truck you can walk to via trail (or short drive) called 'Larkin Barbecue', open Thurs-Sat 11a-8p. SO GOOD! Last, we've lived here for well over a decade now and have seen employees come and go. Current staff is by far our most favorite. Maintenance team is solid and does good work. We especially have to credit Carolyn for being an exceptional addition to management. She has been the most reasonable and understanding of what tenants want and is awesome at following up on concerns/requests. Hilda is also great if you see her, but I think she's more behind the scenes now. The apartments are older (built in the 70s), but current management has been making great progress in updating the units. We just had some renovations done to ours, and we love the improvements!

  Me and my family moved in about week ago and by far these are the most maintained property we’ve lived in. Carolina it’s a great person, she helped make my move in process fast and easy. The property is really clean from inside and out, calm neighbors which is a plus. I hope they stay like this as well as Carolina making everything run smoothly so I can keep renewing my contract each time so I can live here for life .
