attended the Cafe friendsgiving party last night and it was a blast. I met a few neighbors and we exchanged info. We already plan to hang out this weekend and watch football. Thank you to Liz and the East Side team for throwing these parties and making it a fun community to live in. (plus I loved BBQ)
I lived in this apartment for two years, and there were more cons than pros. The walls were paper thin, I could hear every phone conversation and shower that my neighbors took on all sides. I did appreciate the neighborhood gym and the proximity to stores like North Park, but those are the only pros I can think of. I had so many cockroach issues, and pest control couldn't fully fix it. The appliances were outdated, the office is not easy to work with, and for what you pay that shouldn't be the case.
I've lived at UES for 5+ years now and still recommend to all my friends! Huge shout outs to Beth, Carri, Taylor and the entire UES cafe team. They truly add to my everyday. For this review, I also want to recognize Javier on the maintenance team - so helpful and kind! He stopped when he saw me struggling to change my spare tire and had me heading to Discount Tire in no time. I truly appreciated his help! A big thank you to your great village maintenance team!!

Best apartment I’ve ever lived in. No complaints at all. Cold plunge and hot tub was great. Didn’t even use a lot of the nice features they have. Very quiet and friendly neighbors as well. Always felt safe there too.

This is the best apartment complex I've ever lived it. There are two to three events every week, the staff is friendly and there's a nice sized field where dogs can run and play. There's also all the benefits of living in The Village such as the nice walking path behind the "country club."
You get what you pay for, though and you pay a quite a premium to live here compared to other similar apartments (sq ft wise).
The only two issues I've had living here is out of UES' hands. For one, the conplex is on an awful power grid. If there's a storm, the power WILL go out. Secondly, USPS and UPS are absolutely awful here. Half the time neither will even bother trying to deliver my package and just mark it as failed to deliver.
Overall, I'm very happy with UES. The only reason I may move is due to rent cost.
