DO NOT MOVE HERE
The village gate is NOT a safe place to live. Recently my roommate was a victim of his car being stolen. Not only that, but this happened not even 100 feet from where we live. I spoke with the property manager Dina and she assured me there was nothing she could do. She offered to have the village patrol to come by more. That's an interesting request after we had already reported a vehicle break in only a couple months prior. So clearly that is an empty promise. In addition she suggested we move somewhere else in the village if we have an issue for the exact same fee anyone else would pay to move places. And when I asked if there was anything she could do financially for us, she assured me the rent is what it is and there is nothing she can do about it. Do not live here or anywhere in the village. They posture as helpful and super friendly, but all they care about is collecting your rent check at the first of every month.
I lived here 2 years.
My bike was stolen from my balcony, coincidentally at the same time they had repairs being done on the balcony.
They did nothing to help me. Matter of fact they laughed and said it was impressive when I first mentioned it. It was a $600 mountain bike.

When I first moved here in 2023, there was a major roach problem. It was pretty bad like 2-8 roaches a day.
At first they had a weekly exterminator spray our apartment, which was fine but didn’t solve the root issue.
Within our first year of living here, they really took measures to solve the root issue and have successfully solved it. Once someone moved out of one unit near by us that was the source of the issue, they were able to really clean up that major pain point where my roomate and I don’t see roaches anymore.
Staff has always been really communicative letting us know what kind of maintenance is happening or if something has happened in the community.
Staff is also really responsive to maintenance requests. The maintenance man is really nice, and we never wait longer than 2 days to have something fixed.
It’s nice you get access to the other village amenities like the gym and pool. The units themselves are older, and the kitchen is really small with old appliances.
But if you need something within budget, for the space, size, amenities, and easy access to the city, it’s been fine living here. Also, I feel pretty safe living here with patrol always around. Neighbors are pretty quite.
A con for some- some of the units are close to the street, so you may be prone to hearing honking and street noises if you are in one of those units

UPDATE: the review I had about the management is slowly decreasing every time. I am dealing with two neighbors that have dogs that bark constantly, and I have addressed the matter to management, including daily videos and they haven’t taken actions. They even responded me once about how The Village is a pet friendly community, so does this mean that are yall putting animals before human residents who are the ones that pay rent??? Every day I get sadly disappointed of how the management of the community has become. It makes me feel that it doesn’t matter how disrupted my peace and sleep has become, the dogs are first. Also, crime has increased and they keep saying that they will increase vigilance and I never see the patrols around lately.
It hurts me to write this review because I used to love to live here before. The management is fantastic honestly, but there are some things that have made feel disappointed about my experience.
The one bedroom apartments are perfect for one person only, the bedroom is spacious, but the closet is tiny for two people, the kitchen in all the apartments are tiny as well.
Second, the constant noise around is massive, if it’s not from the neighbors, or their dogs, it’s from workers, there’s always something they are repairing, so imagine having finally a vacation period so you be waken up every day at 8:00 am by the noise. Plus, this last time they didn’t send an email about it, no heads up, nothing. I even checked my email 5 times before writing this review and they didn’t send any. The units are also so close to each other that you can hear any neighbor that are probably just chilling on their balcony.
Third, if you call the patrol to deal with something, they take FOREVER to arrive and address the issue. So imagine having an emergency, and they take 45 minutes to address it. Sometimes they dont even arrive, but they only document what you called them about.
The location of these apartments is amazing, but all these things make me want to relocate as soon as my contract is due.

Beautifully landscaped property with a wonderful layout. While an older property, the units have great layouts, size, and upkeep. Staff is great. Maintenance is spectacular. Great pool areas with updated grilling areas.
