This was already being sent to compliance code office of Dallas due to the nature of the case
I am writing to formally request immediate attention regarding a public health and safety concern at this, For the past several weeks, the dumpster in the complex has been overflowing with trash, creating unsanitary conditions that pose health and safety risks to residents and the surrounding community.
The conditions include:
Overflowing garbage, with bags and loose trash extending beyond the dumpster.
Strong odors and potential attraction of pests, rodents, and insects.
Blocked access to proper disposal areas, increasing the risk of injury or contamination.
According to the City of Dallas Code of Ordinances, Chapter 17, Article IV – Health and Sanitation, property owners are required to maintain premises free from accumulation of trash and debris, ensuring safe and sanitary conditions for residents and neighbors (Sec. 17-54 and 17-55). Additionally, Dallas City Code, Chapter 32, Solid Waste, Sec. 32-14 requires proper collection and disposal of waste and mandates property owners to prevent accumulation that constitutes a health hazard.
Given the ongoing nature of this issue, I respectfully request that the Code Compliance Department inspect the property and enforce compliance with all applicable health, sanitation, and safety regulations. Immediate action is needed to prevent further hazards to residents and the community.
I am happy to provide photographs or additional information upon request. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
