  If you okay with losing everything you ever worked for then this place is for you. November 8, 2025 my car along with 5 others were set on fire due to another residence electric car catching on fire ( speaking there are no charging port inside the garage.) No Management did nothing, they actually close the office same day to avoid dealing with the aftermath, two day before the fire they " tested the alarm system" Crazy, because this all happened while I was sleep in my unit. No Alarms went off No sprinkler system nothing !! They didn't even reach out to those that were affected, No they didnt give us the information that was needed to resolve to issue until days after. Instead the neglected the situation sending out statement letting other residence know that they car park anywhere do to the fire. They Failed to take owner ship in there own property. Lets not forget I was also on the elevator when it stopped and had to call the police to get me out because you cant even use the emergency button to get you any help. This place need is a walking red flag. So if you take pride in what you have and how hard you work for what you have this is not the place.

  Don't do it! My final bill was sent straight to collections with NO opportunity to pay it beforehand. When I turned in my keys, the property manager informed me that a third-party company would contact me to make the final payment, which was understandable. He said there was no alternative way to make a payment (i.e., the online portal) due to the system kicking me out once he finished his move-out processes. Now, I'm getting calls from a collections agency when I did not even know what the final bill was for until I called the collections company back to see what was going on after I emailed Adam several times simply asking for a copy of the bill so I would know what I was paying, how much, etc. I am incredibly disappointed, as I had no major issues while living at the complex. Due to this shady moveout process, I would only recommend moving here if you want an unavoidable collections charge on your credit!

  I’ve lived at the South Side Flats for just under a year and have enjoyed the affordability, however there is a reason the units are leasing for comparably lower prices. The doors around the facility are almost never secure and are broken, the garage gate is broken 90% of the time, the hallways are never cleaned, there is always homeless sleeping around the “private” property, the last maintenance request I put in wasn’t even looked at for a month and a half, Dallas Police and Constables are at the property like clock work looking for people/answering calls for service and on multiple occasions I have been denied access to my own apartment due to a shooting crime scene or an in progress crime that they are investigating in surrounding units, when I first leased the apartment there was an inch of dust caked onto the fans in every room, there is usually a stench of weed in the hallways that seeps into your apartment, anytime you call the office you have to hope and pray they feel like answering the phone that day, I’ve had family and friends over on multiple occasions where they are scared to even get out of their cars in the garage, the security that is supposed to protect the property is never around and I’ve maybe seen them twice in the year I’ve been here. All in all, if you are looking for affordability, this is the place for you.

  Do NO RENT HERE!! I tried renting and got the total run around and was also ignored!! I would call several times a day and would get NO ANSWER from the front office! I mean I at least called 5x a day for 3 days in a row and could never get anyone. Then they told me they could accept documentation through email and then told me they could not after I sent it. Waste of application fee and very unprofessional office. Garret and Rosa are terrible employees. Sincerely Vyctoria.
