This is my 3rd lease here at this property and it will be my last. This complex is on a chiller system. So in your own apartment you cannot switch between heat or A/C. The office decides that and for the past 3 years, they turned the heat on too soon and the A/C too late. This year is no different. I was told by the office that the first or second week of March the switch will happen. We are having highs in the 80’s for the next week! We have no A/C, they are not offering any portable A/C units in the meantime either. AND the first year I signed here, the entire complex did not have heat or hot water for 25 days in the dead of winter. And they only gave us $100 credit as an apology. The laundry rooms break down and are so expensive, it’s better to go to a laundromat. Broke down un-drivable cars are littered in the parking lots taking up spaces. This apartment used to be sought after with a waitlist and people used to live here for 10+ years. It is mismanaged and an absolute clown show now.
EDIT: these are all complaints that I have voiced to the office and gotten absolutely no constructive advice/action from. I have reached out to the property manager through email and I receive no response back. So reach out? I have. It’s about as helpful as talking to a wall. Give your tenants A/C in 80 degree weather. That’s the solution. We all have the weather app. Y’all don’t know that it gets hot in Texas? The weather took you by surprise?
EDIT: I don’t want to reach out, I have already. Odalis was too busy to answer my email or speak to me on the phone. The only solution to this problem that YOU have created is to give your tenants air conditioning. That’s it. OR provide rental air conditioning units in the mean time (THAT WERE OFFERED WHEN THIS HAPPENED LAST YEAR), OR offer reimbursement for having to purchase one out of our own pockets. It’s absolutely ridiculous. There are elderly people and children in this complex, how do expect your tenants to “deal with it” and “bear with you” as “it is a little uncomfortable” in this weather?!? And in regards to the other issues in this complex, have regular inspections in the laundry facilities, and fix them when they break down? There’s 3 of them. There is no reason why I have to wash my clothes in one and then go to another to dry because one’s dryers don’t have heat and the others washers are broken and filled with rancid water.

I went in today and was helped by Odalis, who was working by herself at the time. She was quick to greet me and immediately offered assistance. I was inquiring about a 3-bedroom, and although there isn’t one currently available for immediate move-in, she was still incredibly informative and kind throughout the entire process. She took the time to answer all my questions, made me feel welcomed and valued, and took my information to follow up in case one becomes available. Great service and a wonderful experience overall!

Poor customer service, terrible service overall, I wouldn't recommend it at all. In addition, they have a disorganized administration and charge inflated bills to cover up their administrative errors.
Go to the website and report all the irregularities that are happening here... and thanks to Miss Odalis for her terrible service.

Air and heat are a huge issue. They simply do not work on a regular basis.

When I moved into this complex, I was assured that the air conditioning worked properly, despite the many reviews warning that it didn’t. During the tour, they said those were just “angry tenants” and that the AC was working fine. That was not true.
During the summer, the AC never worked at 100%. Many neighbors have window units, which I didn’t think much about at first, but now it makes complete sense. When “winter” started, the system began blowing hot air even though outside temperatures were between 75 and 80 degrees. Apartments became hotter than the outside, and many neighbors had their doors open because of how unbearable the heat was.
When I asked the office, they told me that cold air would no longer be available because they manage the system by “season.” In other words, even if there is extreme heat outside, only heating is available because that’s how they decided to run it. Between the 20th and the 26th, the heat has been unbearable, and the apartment temperature reaches 80 degrees or more, with no option to turn on cold air.
If you call the office for help, they basically tell you they can’t do anything and that you should “deal with it.” According to them, this complex is not like others where you can choose between heat or AC when needed.
It’s unbelievable to have to get through a “winter” that feels like summer, suffering inside your own apartment, simply because management refuses to maintain a functional system. It’s uncomfortable, unfair, and definitely not what they promise when you sign the lease.
