Traté de llamar al número que aparece, suponiendo que es el de la oficina del leasing con una pregunta bastante simple y luego de explicar el problema y decirme que podía ayudarme me cortó la llamada abruptamente. Cabe aclarar que soy residente.

They charge you for everything, even the air you breathe when you leave, they keep the gates open so thieves can walk right through, and they don't help you even if you report it. Don't live here, isn’t too different than living in a jail

My experience overall with Carrolton Park apartments has been positive. They work hard to follow up with concerns or maintenance requests, and are actively updating the complex.

After living here for a few years I can honestly say this is a good place to stay. The office took care of my needs 9 times out of 10. (Ask for Ms. Cateria in the front office as she is the most knowledgeable person next to the manager in my opinion.) I had across the hall neighbors and downstairs neighbors that were friendly and family oriented. Since the daycare, elementary & middle school is next door, there are kids of all ages wandering around here. While the management have changed the visitors parking and unfortunately I succumbed to it, they allow 2 cars per resident on the lease which is more than usual places. Unfortunately, roaches did invade my third story apartment BUT we're eliminated with multiple treatments and bombings. The ordure unfortunately is amongst every patch of grass. Dogs of all sizes & breeds walk this neighborhood, some people don't always leash and curb their dogs so keep aware. While I never used the pools, the gym area was usually clean and cool. They have a half basketball court indoor attached to the gym. Overall I would recommend if you're looking for a place to stay, this checks off affordable, safe & "quiet". No apartment is perfect but this has been an alright experience for the past three years. Edit: After move out I was hit with an absurd amount for a move out fee. Come to find out, this is a THIRD PARTY VENDOR for the move out walk-through. I've attached the receipt they're requesting. The thing is I CANT DISPUTE THIS FOR 2 DAYS! IT TAKES THE VENDOR 2 OF THE 10 BUSINESS DAYS TO EVEN CALL BACK! THATS ABSURD! The thing is, you can see the CLEANLINESS UPON MOVE out and yet somehow after The Cleaning Authority was in the house cleaning top to bottom for hours which I paid for, I still get hit with a cleaning fee. Not to mention they state a fan needs replacement, yet it worked upon us leaving & The globe was in the closet...not to mention the absurd cost of carpet repair or replacement? The carpets were in great condition upon move out. It's very unfortunate that I have to remove a star due to the fact the property management can't even do their own walk thru with on the way out with the leaser to SHOW them what can or can't be resolved. I had a whole 24 hours I could have made things easier or better for them if need be but unfortunately they don't even do their own walk-through for the leaser. Edit #2: Make DAMN sure you take photos and clean EVERY LITTLE BIT of your apartment. The 3rd party will charge you an immense amount for trash they have to take out, lost or damaged keys, and any extra cleaning they have to do. They change the carpet every two years unless an attendant is in the unit which they also make you pay for. For my two bed/two bath it was $500 for a entire apartment refurbishment. As you can see the carpet was stain free and essentially still looking brand new after it had been cleaned. I had to rectify most of the entire invoice due to the fact of the overcharges the third party company was trying to charge us upon move out. Please do your diligence in making sure that you are taking photos of all the way to the smallest items within the house. To the smallest crevices. Within all of the cabinets. The light fixtures and the refrigerator. The vendor that they use is trying to essentially pickpocket you especially if you do not have any proof. Initially they were trying to charge over $1,000 upon move out. That is with the deposit that we left, I was able to rectify and prove everything that was within the apartment and was brought down by half. DO YOUR DUTIES TO BE CLEAN AND THEY STILL CHARGE YOU FOR BEING CLEAN. ITS CRAZY.
