These apartments are nice, the only thing I don’t like about them, they are poorly built, they have very poor insulation.. the footsteps of the tenants above us are super loud that shake our ceilings and walls..we could hear next door tenants talking laughing having sex.. etc. These noises sometimes wake me up.. we complained to the front desk but they didn’t do anything, they didn’t even respond to the email.

The front door keypad battery has died, leaving us locked out of our apartment. There is no emergency keyhole on the door, and emergency maintenance is over an hour away.
This is more than an inconvenience — it’s a serious safety issue. Tenants should never be stranded outside their homes due to a dead battery with no physical backup option.
Management needs to address this immediately by providing a mechanical key override or improving emergency response for lockouts. I was dropped off by uber and keys are inside preventing me from Waiting in a warm place .

I am going on my second year at Highpark and overall it is a nice place to stay. I have no complaints regarding my apartment itself. The maintenance staff are prompt and very accommodating to my many concerns. Alexis and Keirin ( im sorry i spelled her name wrong) are very accomodating and do the best they can to take feedback and adjust accordingly.
The common space is nice and hosts study rooms and much space to relax outside of your living space.
The complex is in a very convenient location in a well kept area. I enjoy living hereUnfortunately there can’t be greatness without room for improvement.
I highly disagree with the forced option of renters insurance as i am not able to cancel my policy because my valuable protection is included, so yes you guessed it. I am paying double for Renter’s Insurance because this was something upper management thought would be beneficial to residents. But didn’t consider those who already had policies with no issues.
I believe that a children’s area should be considered as we have a lot of kids in the complex and to fight boredom they play in the walkways, the parking lots, and the common space by the study rooms, so if you are studying, they will distract you because of the play.
The gym is very subpar to me considering how many residents utilize it. Not enough equipment, kettle bells don’t match weights, and the equipment is worn. The gym is probably one of the most used amenities here and it definitely needs work.
The work orders once completed don’t give feedback on what was completed so you have to call the office to get updates on what was done. This leaves residents unsure about what issues were actually addressed if office staff is unable to be reached.
All in all, im appreciative of highpark and all that is has to offer. Alexis is fairly new as the manager and she has been doing a great job.
I know some issues are out of their hands but if anything can be taken from this its that, resident advocacy is important no matter how small.

I moved in six months ago from out of state and honestly could not be happier. Alexis, Ki’Erin, Chelsea, and the entire team have been absolutely amazing in helping me and my family feel right at home.
High Park is a wonderful community to raise a family—welcoming, diverse, and well cared for. The property is always well maintained, maintenance requests are handled promptly, and the appliances are top-notch. On top of that, the community activities and gatherings truly make High Park feel like family.
I would highly recommend High Park to anyone looking for a place to call home.

Great experience at Highpark so far. Clean community, responsive maintenance team, and the office staff is friendly. I also really like the resident events they organize.
One small suggestion: the bedroom curtain doesn’t fully block outside light at night, so blackout-style fabric curtains would be a big improvement (I ended up buying and installing my own). Also, the lighting in both the bedroom and living room feels quite dim—brighter light fixtures would make the space much more comfortable.
Overall, I’m happy living here—would love to see some clubhouse games like billiards added in the future!
