I've loved my time at The Kristi. The team is so nice and always willing to help, and I have loved the resident events that they have thrown throughout the year!

Please, please don’t lease at these place! After several years renting at this place, my daughter moved out. They charged over $900 in repairs. They never put new carpet or painted and now that she moved out, they charged her all these outrageous fees. Parents please beware. I was the guarantor and I didn’t receive one phone call out of courtesy! The leasing manager said she emailed me the pictures and I just checked my email and I don’t have any emails with the pictures of the damages. Unfortunately, I partially helped her because I had to abruptly leave since my mother suffered a stroke and I wanted to be by her side. Sydney Craig, the leasing manager was very dismissive and of course said they couldn’t assist with anything because they sent it to collections. I won’t be recommending this place or CLS Living management company any time soon. Please ask your child to take pictures themselves and not be so trusting of The Kristi staff. The place is very run down, gate never works and security is non-existent. If you are leasing that the Kristi, Parents and students please document and get everything in writing.
I cannot say enough good about the Kristi Apartments. One of the best parts about living here is the Staff. Gail, the property manager, makes each resident feel right at home. the leasing agents, :Jessica, Clara, and spencer are always willing to answer and help with any questions I have. Jordan and Alex are always on the job with any maintenance issues i might have. Sydney is also an awesome manager. I have never stayed at a property with this kind of customer service. Normally you pay full market rent at a property and the office staff is not sensitive to you needs. I recommend the Kristi to any student, or non student, looking for a place to live.

I had a terrible experience living at The Kristi. My apartment was infested with roaches the entire time I lived there, and management did nothing to resolve the issue. They simply blamed the problem on the neighbors above us instead of taking responsibility or providing any real solution.
The AC unit made a loud humming noise that was never fixed, despite multiple requests. The internet service was unreliable and constantly went out, making it difficult to work from home or even relax.
The worst part came after I moved out. Management tried to charge me an outrageous amount for what was clearly normal wear and tear. Their so-called “evidence” included things like a photo of a pencil on the ground, which they used as justification for expensive carpet cleaning fees. It felt like they were looking for any excuse to keep my deposit and charge extra.
They also slapped on a humongous charge for painting the walls. What’s especially frustrating is that when I asked for paint to touch up a few spots before moving out, they told me they didn’t have any available—then turned around and billed me for repainting.
To make matters worse, I have emailed them multiple times over a three-month period to dispute these charges and have received no response. Now, instead of addressing my concerns, they are threatening to send the charges to collections.
Overall, I would not recommend The Kristi to anyone. There are far better options in the area—save yourself the stress and look elsewhere. I’m just glad I got out when I did.
