  Everything about this place from the staff to the environment is wonderful. My only complaint is the lack of cameras and security and lack of safety. There have been 2 instances where a random woman walking around with her purse for hours at a time who seems under the influence has followed me while walking to the mail box in the evenings. The second time i noticed she had a man with her who after losing me, she met up with and talked with him before splitting up again. I had the dreaded gut feeling i was about to be taken in both instances. Now Today 4/6/2026 my car has been broken into and stolen from for the second time in front of building 20. My childrens scooters were stolen off our front porch months ago after our bushes that used to hide them were removed and replaced with that grass plant bush. There is constantly a homeless man, the same homeless man who randomly walks through our complex multiple days a week. We have the men on bikes constantly coming through here bugging me and my children for 30+ minutes daily asking my underage children for their names etc. i dont mind them inviting us to church but they dont need to be asking our personal family info. Our gates should be closed at all times even during daily hours. And they should definitely put scattered cameras around the complex for footage and security purposes. I hate being scared to walk around my complex and now being told they dont have cameras anywhere on property after reporting my incident to them and them telling me all i can do is call the cops now im even more scared. If the people who walk around the office and pool at night succeeded in trafficking me those two nights before i stopped walking completely, there wouldve been no cameras and no one would ever be able to find me. Please do better for your renters candlewood before yall end up with missing peoples cases if there arent already any. They told us there were 2 other break in reports over easter weekend besides us so this is obviously a problem here that needs to be looked into and resolved for future incidents. Residents shouldnt be living in fear. Now im scared to let my kids play outside even with me cause i feel like us and our belongings are being watched. Everything else here is great. We just need to up the security or put up cameras. Next door at christi wood they have drive around security who i see driving their complex all night checking on things. They even stopped me and my friend who lives next door as we talked over the fence cause he wanted to make sure we werent causing harm. We need that here in our complex. Maybe contact christi wood next door and ask who they use for security. I feel much safer over there when visiting my friend and walking her complex with her as opposed to right next door here at mine.

  Living here has been the biggest mistake of my life, I spotted roaches in my apartment before I had even brought a crumb of food into it, I’ve had my motorcycle stolen one 2 separate occasions and the key holes to my truck have been destroyed due to thieves attempting to break into it. I’ve spoken to many other tenants and many of them have issues with vandalism and pest control as well, do yourself a favor and avoid these apartments.

  So much to say but dont know were to start. First big thing is roaches. Dead one's behind the refrigerator. A lot of them were painted over. Don't keep up with their cleaning. Dishwasher had rust and broken. First week of moving in the restroom silling fell. Like what if my kids were in there. I've vacuumed the floor. Hey dozen times and still picking up dirt. They won't change out the refrigerator because it's still working but thay should because the roaches leave their mark and they will be back to that fridge. And the stove looked like it's from the 90s. And so much more to be added on here the worst apartments I ever seen in my life.
