  We visited Oakwood Homes in Conroe just to gather some information about the home-buying process, and we left truly impressed. Chris went above and beyond to walk us through each step, making sure we fully understood everything. He even offered to give us a tour, which we really appreciated. He was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and never once made us feel pressured. It was a great experience, and we highly recommend stopping by if you’re beginning your home-buying journey.

  I’d do zero but you can’t. I was just hung up on by the “new” service manager. They take no responsibility for wrong doings and will hang up on you. Edit to add since they wanted to respond here- (but not reach out personally) Yes our home will be taken care of by the manufacturer after speaking to your corporate office. They had no problem pulling up the records yall "didn't have bc those employees aren't here" My review is in regards to the CURRENT EMPLOYEES at the Conroe location- they are terrible have no customer service and will hang up on you then not answer when you call back you have to use a different number to get them to answer!! David is the current "manager" and Mason screens all the calls. It was actually a simple fix the manufacturer will be fixing with NO HELP from the office we purchased from. So if you want to buy here just know after you sign they will hang up on you and not answer your calls- and the corporate office had no issues fixing the problem. The review is for the terrible employees "managers"

  I wish that I could give no stars. They managed to take the one of the most exciting times of buying a new mobile home and turned it into such a stressed disaster. It all started with the salesman, Chris Monson. He promised the world to get the sale. We are 2 hours away from the location and still chose to use them instead of staying local. Chris promised the upgraded siding to get our business. We sent our down payment to them and scheduled our signing date. We drove there on a Saturday only to sit down and get to one of the last pages and found out the skirting and stairs they promised as part of the purchase were removed. What I should have done was get my money back and leave but we were to vested in the purchase and needing it ASAP. Chris told us that the skirting was never a part of the deal. But also in the next breathe stated his general manager got on to him for upgrading our siding. I stated so in other words you screwed us our of the skirting and stairs to make up the cost. He said welll....not really. He stood right there on their lot when we went to look at the mobile home and stated the skirting was included not to mention the purchase sticker inside stated the same thing. I told him that was shading just writing it into the papers and hoping we would not see it. I asked to speak with the general manager and conveniently he wasnt available . We finished the paperwork and left. I called several more times in the following weeks to speak with the general manager and he was never available. I believe his name is Richard. Repeatedly leaving messages for him or our salesman checking on the status of our home. Finally got a return call from Chris stating house was in and they had to deliver it asap because every day it sat on their lot they were losing money. I told him we have been trying to get an update on when it would be ready because we had a mobile home to move before they could deliver. Then our salesman claimed to be out od the country. Finally got the home delivered and they scheduled the walk thru. The contractor that was supposed to come in and fix the small problems showed up did the least amount possible due to them having a family emergency. They finally sent someone from the factory to correct the problems. Here we are almost 5 months later with no skirting and now winter is here and we have to come out of pocket with $2000 for the cheapest possible solution. I received a card in the mail from the salesman saying please refer people to us and you will receive a certain dollar amount for each referral. Please, please, please be very cautious of using this company. They are not an upstanding company when it comes to keeping their word and completing what they promise. Thanks Oakwood Homes of Conroe for ruining this special time of making a big purchase as a newly married couple on a budget. Should have stayed local apparently. Lesson learned the hard way for sure and at our expense.

  Colter and Matthew were so helpful and answered all the questions we had as first time homebuyers. I will definitely be recommending them to all of our friends and family!
