  I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Clayton Homes, specifically with the salesperson Lora. After our initial in-person meeting, she ran my credit without having all the necessary documents like my W-2s, which I feel would have helped my application immensely. Despite being clear about my urgent need for a home and reaching out to her multiple times a day, I received no follow-up, no communication, and no support. It’s incredibly frustrating and disheartening to feel completely ignored during such an important and personal process. Buying a home is not something to be taken lightly, especially when someone is in a desperate situation. I expected professionalism, transparency, and empathy — none of which were shown. I strongly urge Clayton Homes to reevaluate how they handle customer communication and follow-up. This experience has left me feeling neglected and set back in a critical time.

  Me and My wife were looking to purchase our dream home for us and our children . We heard Clayton Homes was a great place to purchase from that they had amazing homes . Everything seemed great when we arrived the staff was very friendly but when we talked to Maria , she was very quick to belittle us about the home we wanted . She then proceeded to say that I didn’t make enough and that I had to settle for what they were offering me . She was also very quick , her and Fernando rushed us to sign paperwork and then Fernando never would answer our calls or help with our concerns after they received our down payment . Fernando stopped all communication and we never heard from him again , in fact he even moved locations . We found this out because we spoke to someone at Clayton Homes who informed of the situation . They informed us that we needed to a home welcoming that includes them checking all of the things that could have possibly went wrong during the move . Judy came out and handed us our gift . She was real nice at first but she didn’t fix anything nor call the people to do so , because there were things not done right . They even dumped out trailer onto the land and didn’t help with anything , left us to do all on own because they had already received the money . They never did anything they said they would do . We moved in despite all of the horrible situations that happened before hand , which was not a bright idea because we didn’t know what was really in store for us . Our house was falling apart before our eyes on the second day we moved it . The trim was all coming off , the door knobs all fell off , our trailer flooded four times in a row and no one would help for months told us it was our job to fix because we were now home owners . They blamed us for everything and wouldn’t fix nothing but always wanted their money . The trailer was extremely cheap , poorly made and had an astronomical price over 100,000 with taxes etc . Wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy and would give 0 stars if I could . I’m pretty sure these great comments are fake because they get people to put good reviews so they enter in a raffle . They are the number #1 con artists , liars , frauds , manipulators , insensitive , money hungry individuals I’ve ever in met in my life . Please run away from these people while to have the chance !!!!!!!!! .

  Mayra Perez was very nice, she went above and beyond on showing us all the homes they had in stock and walked us through every step of the way. She helped me look for land to go along with the Mobile for a very reasonable price.
