This is probably the worst team of management out of any place I have rented. Facilities aside, when it came time to renew or terminate the lease, I terminated with notice to the office. After move out, I receive a bill stating I did not provide proper notice, being short of 12 days. I showed management receipt and talked all the way up to the district manager and had they stated they would rescind the "late" fee. Later that year I get notified a bill was sent to collections. In short, management will say whatever they need to for you to get off the phone.

I’ve lived at Indian Creek Apartments for a while now, and I’ve noticed a real change in how the property is being taken care of lately. Ever since the recent staff changes, the grounds just don’t look as clean or well-kept as they used to. There’s more trash around, and the overall appearance feels less maintained. It’s disappointing because, in the past, the complex looked great the landscaping was tidy, and everything felt well cared for. It used to be one of the reasons I enjoyed living here. I’m hoping management gets things back on track soon, because it really was a nice place before these changes. I use to love seeing the regular maintenance guys.

I had an appointment scheduled at 12.30. Been waiting outside entire time and finally the leasing women showed up at 1.00 pm and she said she cant show me the apartment available one bedroom apartment scheduled at 12.30 pm and she said she can only show me 2 bedroom apartment and was being rude. If you guys are not interested dont waste customers time. It's a black lady with black dont know her name. (Not being racist dont want some otherstaff getting blamed )

We lived here for 3 years & only left because the amenities available didn't match the increased rental cost. Mechelle & Adrianna (may be spelling that incorrectly) were always helpful, friendly, and genuine. Sally is a hit or miss. Sometimes, she's friendly but other times very transactional & abrupt. Raymundo is a treasure. There was never a maintenance issue that he didn't handle promptly. We returned from a trip at 11:00pm to find our heat wasn't working. We could see our breath in the air. We made the call & Raymundo took care of it within 30 minutes. My only gripe with maintenance is that throughout my residency I always included in my requests to call me before arrival. We have a dog & I work from home, so sudden barking when I'm on a call or in a meeting isn't a good look. I was told it wasn't possible to call me because the maintenance staff picks up the orders and don't have time to call ahead. This sounds incredibly ridiculous. Ironically, I began to receive calls in advance two months before we moved out. I never had a rodent or roach issue. Had that ever been an issue, I wouldn't have finished any lease term. I lived on the top floor, so I don't know if that was a factor. Things Indian Creek can do better include more frequent trash pickup. The receptacles are usually full and-or overflowing, which is just gross and may contribute to any pest issue residents experience. Also, having more pet waste receptacles throughout the property may help encourage residents to pick up after their pets. Running into random dog waste was always an issue at Indian Creek and there never seems to be any real consequence for those who don't comply with common sense & cleanliness. Also, better landscaping and groundskeeping would be a plus. Yes, the mowers run each week, but they're mowing dirt & intermittent grass areas. Three other issues that factored into our decision to move were notifications, the valet trash service, & weather treatment. Residents aren't notified timely about criminal activity. Notices are sent for Indian Creek resident events, several times before the event. But, when police are called to handle an incident or if a rash of something is happening (car break-ins, porch pirates, etc.) residents aren't told until at least a couple of weeks after. The "valet" trash service residents are forced to pay for had many instances in which the trash wasn't collected until overnight, the following evening, & sometimes not all. My last issue was the way the complex dealt with snow & ice. Ice on the pebbled steps leading to the 2nd level apts & ice on the concrete walkways is dangerous. Yet, strangely, I noticed the concrete walkways by the office are perfectly cleared of ice & snow during bad weather. When I called to ask why the paths & steps throughout the complex aren't treated, Sally told me the number of units in the complex are too numerous to treat each area. More ridiculousness. And, this was another abrupt, transactional Sally moment. I wouldn't say don't move here. Our building (9) was quiet and our neighbors were good people. But, improvements are needed.
