Samone & office staff are amazing & quick to answering our questions & getting us into our new apartment. They made moving in easy & stress free. Theres minor issues with our new apartment. Make readys tend to get rushed through so thats not a shocker. We're hoping problems dont happen, But we are happy right now.

The apartments are really old and the plumbing is just as old. The hot water for multiple buildings has been room temperature for months - seriously, since late May and no clear indication of when to expect hot water. The water isn’t paid for by the landlord, but billed through an allocated service which isn’t accurate when there isn’t anyone reviewing the water bills and usage monthly. The toilet is also from the 80’s and uses a ton of water. I don’t recommend living here.

Office Staff - When I was looking for a new apartment, I came to Village Oaks. Samone, their leasing agent, was the first person I met and she was very welcoming and informative. She made me feel like family and I really felt like I had found my new home. Her smile and calm demeanor put me at ease as she explained the amenities, the move in process, etc.
Maintenance Staff - The first time I met Albert, a member of the maintenance crew, was when I was struggling to get my mattress tied to a dolly to get it from the parking lot to my 3rd floor apartment. He walked over and asked if I needed any help. Rather than using a two-man carry, he simply threw the mattress over his shoulder and asked me which apartment it was going to. He didn’t even bat an eye when I told him it was on the 3rd floor!
Later, Albert came to my apartment to fix the minor items noted during my move-in walkthrough. One of the items was to screw down one corner of the A/C vent cover that had come loose. Once he had tightened it, he noticed it was a little dusty, so he proceeded to clean each slat in the vent until the entire vent was nice and clean. Wow! Talk about going above and beyond! Thanks for being such an awesome human being, Albert! The world needs more folks like Albert!
