I moved into this complex almost two months ago. During that time, I have not had hot water. My water will get warm, but never gets hot. When I asked about this, I was told it is an ongoing issue with three buildings at the end of the plumbing loop that just doesn't get enough hot water. I was told I would be given updates. Weeks later I called and was told there were no changes, but if I wanted, I could be added to a list of people effected by the hot water issue. Confused? I thought they already added me to the list. Last night, I had no hot water at all. I had to take a shower, and it was freezing. Now there is a boiler out (separate issue). The boiler is getting fixed but when I asked about the ongoing issue, I was interrupted and spoken to with attitude. I was treated like I was annoying or inconveniencing them when I'm the one who has not had hot water!! My water doesn't get hot enough to wash dishes in. It feels gross washing my dishes in lukewarm or even cold water. Who knows if my dishwasher gets hot enough to sanitize my dishes like its designed to do. I asked if there were going to be breaks on water bills for the residents in the buildings and they said maybe. If they deem the bill to be too drastically different, they might help out. I haven't been given a water bill yet (since I just moved in) and I have to trust on BLIND FAITH that they will do right by me when I can't even get them to speak to me without an attitude on an issue I have to keep asking for follow ups on. They say it is the property manager who is trying to figure this out but nothing has been done and now a cold front is coming through and I DON'T HAVE HOT WATER. I was offered a transfer to a different unit today after being visibly upset on the phone with Lauren after she snapped at me. She asked me to 'just let her get through what she had to say' even though she had interrupted me to say it. She treated me like this issue is my fault when the real problem is this complex prioritizes the wrong things. They are currently repainting all the buildings to entice people to move here when the real issues lie inside the buildings. When I moved in, I submitted 13 maintenance requests within 8 days of living here. The apartment I moved into had been empty for 6 months before I moved in, yet they waited to fix things until I was living there and reported issues. I lived here years ago for three years and never had issues. Now they no longer accept packages at the office, but don't have a package room or package lockers. USPS won't drop things at the doors so we all have to go to the post office to get our things. But they can afford to paint the buildings white. I am incredibly disappointed in this place and the interactions I have had when trying to resolve my issues. The location is great, but it is so not worth the hassle of dealing with the leasing office when you have an issue to complain about. No hot water in winter is ridiculous. It has been manageable because the weather has been nice so far, but the time is up. The issue isn't fixed and my only option is to move to a new unit?? I hired movers to get me in here. I'm all unpacked. You shouldn't have given me an apartment that didn't have hot water to begin with. Unbelievable.

We had a terrible experience there.it started off pretty good but quickly turned bad. If you’re considering living here please take the time to read:
1. Packages: initially we could get them but over a year ago things changed- you cannot get USPS packages because the office refuses to hold them or provide lockers. They will automatically return to sender. Neither the complex nor the postal service refuse to budge, blaming each other, and the residents are paying the price.
2. Water: without notice or explanation the water would be shut off, sometimes for days or a couple weeks. The water system is in need of major repairs and the hot water would take minutes to get hot and then fluctuate highly during showers. We had to shower at our gym or family’s place numerous times.
3. A/C: also old and in need of major repairs. In the summer don’t expect to get the apartment to get lower than 80 degrees.
4. Safety/break-ins: our car got broken into (not the only one) there and because there are no cameras or any security measure, prepare for anything. There’s also a growing homeless encampment less than a mile away.
5. Spectrum bundle: other than the annoyance of being forced to pay for a cable service we didn’t use- this wasn’t really an issue until they decided to change the plan without notifying residents. We noticed that we had some late fees and when we asked the front office about it, they told us that it was our fault and we probably clicked and ordered something. The problem is that we don’t use the cable they forced us to get so we knew that couldn’t be the case. The plan that they unilaterally decided to change things to did not include some of the initial equipment that they had issued us and so we were getting charged for being in possession of the equipment that they forced us to have. The spectrum people were really understanding about it, but the front office just tried to blame the residents.
6. Bugs: As others have mentioned there have been roach issues that are not taken care of.
7. Charges: they nickel and dime when you move out and your final payment (cleaning fees, etc) is not something you can pay on the resident portal that you pay rent through. They automatically send that to a third party and require a resident advocate to make that payment. I have never been in a complex that requires an advocate for the resident to mediate between tenants and the complex. It is insane that they automatically send you to a third party to protect you from themselves... which should speak volumes.
You can find nicer places to stay for the same prices they charge… even just providing basic living accommodations would be better than this place.
Hope this helps prospective renters!

Samone & office staff are so sweet & are there if we need anything. Maintenance Men James & Juan are professional & are so nice. Unfortunately I had to take stars off because I've had plumbing issues for a little more then 2months now. I have put in requests & I know they're busy so im just patiently waiting. The pressure is really low, its a pain when my family & i want to take baths. This complex everyone shares a boiler. Theres a build up of calcium rocks & the maintenance ensured they're trying to fix it. I hope they are. Would love to have a higher water pressure then a trickle of it. This place is nice but there's flaws we hope would be fixed soon.

The apartments are really old and the plumbing is just as old. The hot water for multiple buildings has been room temperature for months - seriously, since late May and no clear indication of when to expect hot water. The water isn’t paid for by the landlord, but billed through an allocated service which isn’t accurate when there isn’t anyone reviewing the water bills and usage monthly. The toilet is also from the 80’s and uses a ton of water. I don’t recommend living here.
