Not only did we love the complex but Lisa was such an amazing person, I wish we had more people in the world like herself. Her energy was so positive and enlightening. No apartment complex is perfect but if they hired more staff like Lisa it would only make your living experience so much better. I will be making another appointment soon to tour again before making a decision! Thank you Lisa you were so amazing
- BGBella GodinhoAug 2, 20251.0Living at The Olivine was one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had (and I've lived in $450 student housing apartments). To start, they are currently trying to charge us $800 in cleaning and painting fees and an extra day of rent—despite the fact that we deep cleaned the entire apartment, turned in our keys early, and left damage that they caused in place so we wouldn’t be blamed for it. One of them being tape placed to hold a plastic bag covering a hole in our shower that was there for more than a month (pictures). The apartment itself had CONSTANT issues. Water would get shut off without notice almost every week because of frequent pipe bursts—at least once a month. There's black mold everywhere. The gates were always broken, so the “gated community” was completely unsecured. Police were frequently on the property for domestic disputes and I don't even know what else. The parking lot has been under endless construction, creating huge inconveniences, and the dog park is dangerously neglected—the elevated platform is crumbling, and giant rocks have fallen on dogs and even children (pictures). Management has done nothing about it. As for pricing, we were charged more for an outdated one-bedroom than tenants in newer, renovated two-bedrooms, and they flat-out refused to honor the lower rate shown on their own website. There is a serious lack of transparency, accountability, and care from management. I highly recommend avoiding this complex if you value your time, safety, and finances.
