  The team at Forty Acres is top notch! My wife and I used them to buy our first house and now 6 years later our second house. The communication is fast, clear, and detailed. They will explore options with you to fit your financial need, and guide you through various scenarios that either you or they design. I would recommend them to anyone for a no nonsense, easy-going way to handle financing your house or project!

  My wife and I are from out of state and were interested in purchasing a home in Austin, Texas to be closer to our daughter, son-in-law and new grandson. In order to make an offer on a house our realtor indicated that we needed to have financing in place to be considered a serious buyer. Unsure of who to assist us with this we asked his advice. He suggested we contact Forty Acres Lending and speak with the principal, Gena Caudle. I did and found her to be extremely interested in helping us. After I gathered some general information about our current financial status she was able to obtain prequalification for the Texas home mortgage. This allowed us to move forward to ultimately make an offer and enter into a contract to buy a wonderful house only five minutes from our daughter’s home. As we moved through the process to close on the property Gena and her experienced staff was there to help us gather all the needed documents and connect us with a great lender offering a competitive mortgage rate. She even suggested a couple of ideas for us that got the rate reduced further. They also arranged a home insurance company to provide the necessary homeowners policy as well as the title company to handle the closing. In the end, Forty Acres prep work allowed us to close on the house remotely from Massachusetts. We are now proud owners on a beautiful home in Austin and we feel that it was due to the great team that stood behind us. Forty Acres Lending was truly our quarterback and I would not hesitate to recommend them if you are looking to buy some property in central Texas. They will not disappoint !

  The GoodLife Team was awesome in helping my husband and I find our dream home! Nick actually listened to what we were looking for in a home and found houses that fell into those categories and were within our budget. He was even willing to look into homes that we found on our own and were curious about. He was not looking to just sell a home. He would tell us outright if a home was in bad condition or if we were wasting our time - which is appreciated! He was very patient as we looked at TONS of homes. It was definitely not a buyer's market and yet we never felted like we were being rushed to purchase a home or being asked to settle. Nick made himself available late nights and weekends and even allowed us to stop by his apartment to drop off time-sensitive documents! Lance was very knowledgeable and respectful. We were a difficult case (I'm sure) since my husband has no credit and I have very little. Lance and the mortgage team jumped through hoops, found exceptions and alternative routes in order for us to still get competitive rates. There is not a bank in the world that would do this for a client! In fact, after 6 months of not having our calls/emails returned, we eventually received a letter in the mail from our bank denying us for a loan. Lance was very detailed, organized, and professional when it came to requesting certain documentation from us regarding finances. He would even put in late hours on night and weekends when he easily could have spent that time with family. This is not another client-cranking, money-driven, corporate chain of hagglers who are only looking for a sale. These people truly like what they, are good at it, and provide excellent customer service. They are local and the know Austin and the surrounding areas.
