  I lived at Walnut Ridge for nearly five years as a single parent. They were the most affordable option in the area, though still overpriced for the conditions. Over the years, I stayed in both a one-bedroom and a two-bedroom unit. The apartments themselves are outdated, overpainted, and generally run down. My first unit had a roach problem no matter what I did they came back and ceiling water leakage. The 2nd unit the door was damaged, and constantly smelled of cigarette smoke. This unit was more esthetically updated. On the positive side, the maintenance crew was responsive and quick to patch issues, and the management staff was friendly. However, don’t expect to get your deposit back when you move out—no matter how thoroughly you clean, they’ll find a reason to keep it. I left my unit in better condition than when I moved in, yet they withheld my deposit. They called me mentioning a final water bill and partial few days rent? The total was around $130 or so. So I asked about my deposit to apply towards whatever outstanding balance. I was told that was used for cleaning?? Ultimately it went to collections after 5 years of being a faithful tenant & now being shaded out of my deposit:/. You’ll see pics from the 2bd rm in reference to how well I clean the units when moving out. The cup is from a constant leak I was experiencing in the restroom from a soft ceiling.

  I am having a great experience at Walnut Ridge Apartments! The office staff really makes you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in and they have been wonderful with helping me out with questions or providing resources to help me out. Their move-in specials are the best in the city, and the whole process was smooth and stress-free. I got my app results within a few minutes. The apartments are maintained well, no infestations since I lived their and the community has a great vibe. I also love the amenity resources on property and how well the property is kept. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home and a team that truly cares, I definitely recommend Walnut Ridge!

  I absolutely love these apartments. Office is very friendly and maintenance is very prompt. I’ve been here for over 2 years. I continue to love it.

  No alquilen ahí, está lleno de cucarachas de todas tipos, yo cansé de ir a la oficina para que me solucionasen eso y siempre decían que iban arreglar y nunca hacían nada. Así que resolví irme del apartamento porque tenía un bebé recién nacido y no podría correr el riesgo de poner en peligro la salud de mi bebé. Luego me quisieron cobrar 5 mil dólares por me haber ido antes de finalizar el contrato. Así que sigo luchando con ellos y con una empresa de cobranza de deudas.
